景點簡介
石(shi)霜寺又名崇勝禪林,石(shi)霜、道吾(wu)、寶蓋、大光四(si)寺并稱瀏陽四(si)大祖庭,前兩寺猶盛,后兩寺早廢。據(ju)碑文和(he)《石(shi)霜寺略》載:寺始由唐僖宗(zong)李儇(874-888年(nian))下旨,宰相裴休監建。石(shi)霜寺曾管轄寺院48處(chu),房屋(wu)5048間。唐僖宗(zong)賜香火田300石(shi),傳(chuan)有(you)騎馬關山門之說。有(you)“殿高(gao)九十尺(chi)(chi),佛(fo)高(gao)七十尺(chi)(chi)”之名,“瀏陽大佛(fo)”寺院之宏大可想(xiang)而知。此外還有(you)后人增修的裴休、包拯(zheng)塑像。
寺坐(zuo)北朝南(nan),依山(shan)而建,呈(cheng)參差(cha)錯落之格局。鼎盛(sheng)時期占(zhan)地面(mian)積1萬(wan)多平方(fang)(fang)米,今存3648平方(fang)(fang)米。自唐至清,屢經修葺。今存大雄寶殿(dian)(dian)、關圣(sheng)殿(dian)(dian)、云(yun)水堂(tang)、洪音閣、祖堂(tang)、方(fang)(fang)丈室(shi)、客膳廳、花蓼閣等(deng)。另有(you)部(bu)分石(shi)碑(bei)木匾幸(xing)存。大雄寶殿(dian)(dian)居建筑群中(zhong)心位(wei)置,總(zong)面(mian)積764.4平方(fang)(fang)米,高18米,建于花崗(gang)石(shi)臺基(ji)之上。方(fang)(fang)丈室(shi)居全寺最(zui)高處,面(mian)積250平方(fang)(fang)米,高11米,硬(ying)山(shan)屋頂。寺內保存清代至民(min)國年間匾額(e)10塊,最(zui)早的為(wei)清同(tong)治十(shi)二年(1873)置。寺因霜(shuang)華山(shan)山(shan)峻水秀,觸石(shi)噴霜(shuang)而名(ming)。宋詩人畢田有(you)詩云(yun):
石上泉華噴猛霜,境奇因(yin)此辟禪房(fang)。
使君(jun)環笏留何用(yong),枯(ku)木千馀滿(man)一堂。
石霜(shuang)寺(si)附近景色優美(mei),清人徐(xu)旭旦(dan)《石霜(shuang)寺(si)》詩云:
春深玉殿紫苔封,簇繞屏(ping)山翠幾重(zhong)。
鳥(niao)識(shi)磬聲仍下(xia)食,云移潭影恰聞鐘。
龍(long)華地變黃金界,鷲嶺南(nan)歸白社宗。
我(wo)愛遠公棲遁好,再(zai)來揮麈撫(fu)長松。
石霜(shuang)寺內外有十八景(jing)。山上有連(lian)理枝(zhi)(zhi),河兩岸各有一(yi)樹隔河相會,枝(zhi)(zhi)枝(zhi)(zhi)相連(lian)。有引路松,一(yi)排松樹,枝(zhi)(zhi)伸一(yi)方(fang),狀若引路。又有虎(hu)(hu)(hu)爬(pa)泉(quan)。據清順治年間(jian)瀏陽知縣韓景(jing)《石霜(shuang)寺記》:“傳開(kai)山時(shi)(shi),僧苦遠汲,忽(hu)夜聞(wen)虎(hu)(hu)(hu)吼。詰(jie)旦,視(shi)崖間(jian)石壁,上有虎(hu)(hu)(hu)爪痕,泉(quan)五(wu)道(dao)噴出如沸,名虎(hu)(hu)(hu)爬(pa)泉(quan)。蓋道(dao)力宏遠,猛獸(shou)亦為效靈也。”清光緒時(shi)(shi)任兩廣鹽運使的瀏陽優貢黃征有《虎(hu)(hu)(hu)爬(pa)泉(quan)》詩云:
幾幅袈裟地,禪(chan)林(lin)托缽初(chu)。
傳聞(wen)泉竭絕,曾(ceng)費虎爬梳(shu)。
鴻雪猶留(liu)印(yin),龍(long)云宛(wan)辟(pi)畬。
名山總(zong)神異(yi),不必道憑(ping)虛。
歷史沿革
石霜(shuang)(shuang)寺(si)(si)創建(jian)(jian)于唐僖宗(zong)(zong)(874-888年)時(shi)期沙(sha)門慶諸(zhu)之(zhi)手(shou)。慶諸(zhu)(?-888),《五燈會(hui)元》有傳(chuan)(chuan),俗(su)姓李,廬陵新淦(今江西清江)人,拜紹鑾(luan)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)師(shi)(shi),出(chu)(chu)家(jia)(jia)學佛。初參訪溈山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)靈佑,在(zai)密印寺(si)(si)當(dang)米頭,后(hou)(hou)(hou)又到(dao)(dao)道(dao)(dao)吾(wu)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)參訪宗(zong)(zong)智。一天,宗(zong)(zong)智說(shuo):“我(wo)心中(zhong)有一物(wu),久(jiu)而(er)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)患,誰能為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)我(wo)除之(zhi)?”慶諸(zhu)答(da):“是(shi)物(wu)俱(ju)非,除之(zhi)益患。”家(jia)(jia)智贊之(zhi),封(feng)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)普慧禪(chan)師(shi)(shi)。傳(chuan)(chuan)說(shuo)慶諸(zhu)初到(dao)(dao)石霜(shuang)(shuang)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),找到(dao)(dao)里正要求(qiu)施舍一塊袈裟(sha)大(da)小的土地建(jian)(jian)寺(si)(si),里正應允后(hou)(hou)(hou),慶諸(zhu)將袈裟(sha)拋向(xiang)空中(zhong),竟遮蓋了(le)墨莊、都莊。石莊三村土地。里正驚悔,協商(shang)后(hou)(hou)(hou)將石莊撥出(chu)(chu)建(jian)(jian)寺(si)(si),慶諸(zhu)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)住持(chi),開(kai)堂說(shuo)法。時(shi)宰(zai)相裴(pei)休貶為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)湖南觀察使,篤信佛教(jiao),執笏(hu)來(lai)訪。慶諸(zhu)指其(qi)笏(hu)說(shuo):“此(ci)物(wu)在(zai)天子手(shou)中(zhong)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)珪,在(zai)官人手(shou)中(zhong)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)笏(hu),在(zai)老僧(seng)手(shou)中(zhong)且道(dao)(dao)喚作什(shen)么?”裴(pei)休無言以對,遺(yi)笏(hu)而(er)去,后(hou)(hou)(hou)建(jian)(jian)遺(yi)笏(hu)堂。此(ci)笏(hu)雖曾遺(yi)失多次,終完(wan)璧(bi)歸趙,至今仍在(zai),為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)寺(si)(si)存八寶(bao)之(zhi)一。慶諸(zhu)居石霜(shuang)(shuang)寺(si)(si)30年,僧(seng)眾追隨者上千人,其(qi)中(zhong)十之(zhi)七(qi)八參禪(chan)長坐不臥,屹若株杌,謂之(zhi)“枯木禪(chan)”,名(ming)聲遠揚(yang)。唐僖宗(zong)(zong)派人賜紫衣,不受,后(hou)(hou)(hou)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)之(zhi)大(da)造寺(si)(si)院(yuan),由裴(pei)休監造。石霜(shuang)(shuang)寺(si)(si)遂成為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)湖湘名(ming)寺(si)(si)。相傳(chuan)(chuan)唐父僖宗(zong)(zong)的第三個兒子,即(ji)普聞(wen)禪(chan)師(shi)(shi),在(zai)石霜(shuang)(shuang)寺(si)(si)出(chu)(chu)家(jia)(jia),法號(hao)“龍(long)(long)(long)湖”,山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)澗(jian)舊有“太子橋”遺(yi)跡(ji)。唐代高僧(seng)慈明、楚圖及其(qi)弟子慧南、方會(hui),在(zai)黃龍(long)(long)(long)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)、楊歧山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)布道(dao)(dao)講經,創立黃龍(long)(long)(long)、楊歧兩佛教(jiao)流派。
以后如(ru)楚圓(yuan)、方會(hui)、慧(hui)南等名僧輩(bei)出,成為臨濟(ji)宗(zong)楊歧派和(he)(he)黃(huang)龍(long)派的(de)(de)共同祖庭,在中國和(he)(he)日(ri)(ri)本(ben)禪宗(zong)史(shi)上(shang),都有著極其(qi)重要的(de)(de)地位。有日(ri)(ri)本(ben)國明(ming)庵榮(rong)西和(he)(he)俊艿來此學(xue)(xue)法。回國創立(li)了日(ri)(ri)本(ben)佛(fo)教中的(de)(de)臨濟(ji)宗(zong)、中嚴宗(zong)兩派系(xi)。1983年,日(ri)(ri)本(ben)駒澤大學(xue)(xue)佛(fo)教部第五次佛(fo)教史(shi)跡(ji)訪華參觀團(tuan)曾到石霸(ba)寺拜祖,并(bing)敬謁慶諸塔(ta)墓。
建筑特色
唐朝的石(shi)霜(shuang)寺(si)(si)建筑宏偉,佛像莊嚴。寺(si)(si)修成后,朝廷賜給(gei)香火田,以充寺(si)(si)院經費。當時的石(shi)霜(shuang)景色優(you)美,古跡甚多(duo)。“內八(ba)景”有(you)(you)千僧鍋、萬人(ren)床、象牙朝笏、祖(zu)師袈裟(sha)、禪杖、包公硯池(chi)、枯(ku)木堂、自(zi)鳴鐘。“外(wai)八(ba)景”有(you)(you)虎扒泉(quan)、鹽醋井、飛來塔(ta)、仙(xian)女曬鞋、山(shan)人(ren)下棋(qi)、仙(xian)人(ren)推磨、打鼓嶺、蛤(ha)蟆滴水。此外(wai),山(shan)寺(si)(si)附(fu)近(jin)還(huan)有(you)(you)不少(shao)神(shen)話(hua)傳說,頗(po)為有(you)(you)趣。隔河相會(hui)、仙(xian)人(ren)椅、上馬石(shi)、木魚石(shi)、關公橋、棋(qi)盤石(shi)、引路松(song)、太(tai)子橋等等,皆(jie)據(ju)(ju)自(zi)然景物,隨意立名(ming),引人(ren)入勝。寺(si)(si)前坪山(shan)門內及寺(si)(si)后現存有(you)(you)千年古柏、古銀(yin)杏(xing)各一株,據(ju)(ju)說柏樹(shu)(shu)還(huan)是幼苗時,即向左傾(qing)斜,小沙彌欲拔掉,被(bei)慶諸制止(zhi),用土石(shi)壘圍(wei)正,故名(ming)為左柏,高30米,胸徑(jing)達80厘米,枝(zhi)葉繁茂。如今,樹(shu)(shu)在人(ren)亡,佛塔(ta)累累,該寺(si)(si)的開山(shan)祖(zu)慶諸和尚和他的后繼(ji)者(zhe)就葬在寺(si)(si)的后山(shan)附(fu)近(jin),而古柏和銀(yin)杏(xing)仍迎朝送晚,屹立寺(si)(si)后。
道德禪師
概述
著名的(de)有(you)普會(慶諸(zhu)、慈明(ming)(楚圓)、普聞(wen)(龍湖)、慧南、方(fang)會等(deng)。中(zhong)國佛教禪(chan)宗(zong)(zong)(zong)(zong)五(wu)家七(qi)宗(zong)(zong)(zong)(zong),有(you)兩宗(zong)(zong)(zong)(zong)發源于石(shi)(shi)霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)寺。《中(zhong)國佛教》中(zhong)云:“有(you)楚圓,住石(shi)(shi)霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)崇勝寺行化,其(qi)下有(you)慧南、方(fang)會,開黃龍、楊歧二派,合前五(wu)家,號為七(qi)宗(zong)(zong)(zong)(zong)。與慶諸(zhu)同(tong)時或稍(shao)后的(de)著名禪(chan)師(shi)(shi)(shi)在(zai)石(shi)(shi)霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)寺活動的(de),還有(you)大善(shan)、性空(kong)、暉禪(chan)師(shi)(shi)(shi)等(deng)人(ren)。大善(shan)是(shi)為祖道(dao)一法(fa)(fa)嗣,性空(kong)是(shi)百丈懷海法(fa)(fa)師(shi)(shi)(shi),暉禪(chan)師(shi)(shi)(shi)是(shi)慶諸(zhu)法(fa)(fa)嗣。這(zhe)些人(ren)都是(shi)唐末、五(wu)代間(jian)人(ren)。另外,慶諸(zhu)傳法(fa)(fa)師(shi)(shi)(shi)父(fu)道(dao)吾(wu)宗(zong)(zong)(zong)(zong)智(zhi)墓塔從來也被遷(qian)來這(zhe)里。到了(le)(le)宋朝,石(shi)(shi)霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)寺出了(le)(le)不少禪(chan)師(shi)(shi)(shi)。見于禪(chan)宗(zong)(zong)(zong)(zong)史籍(ji)的(de)有(you)石(shi)(shi)霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)楚圓、法(fa)(fa)永、節誠、石(shi)(shi)霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)琳、守孫、宗(zong)(zong)(zong)(zong)鑒等(deng)人(ren)。其(qi)中(zhong)楚圓是(shi)聞(wen)名全國影響深造的(de)人(ren)物(wu)。石(shi)(shi)霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)寺所以(yi)得名,就是(shi)從他開始。
楚圓
又(you)(you)名慈明(987-1040年(nian)(nian))因(yin)居潭州石(shi)霜寺(si)(si)(si),所以稱石(shi)霜楚(chu)圓(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)。他(ta)(ta)俗姓李(li),廣西全州人,原是一(yi)讀書人,22歲(sui)在(zai)湘(xiang)山(shan)(shan)隱靜寺(si)(si)(si)出家為僧,游方(fang)(fang)(fang)(fang)到北方(fang)(fang)(fang)(fang)參訪(fang)臨濟(ji)宗(zong)(zong)(zong)僧人汾陽善昭獲悟。爾后(hou)石(shi)霜楚(chu)圓(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)傳法于(yu)楊(yang)歧方(fang)(fang)(fang)(fang)會(hui),開(kai)楊(yang)歧派(pai)(pai);又(you)(you)傳黃龍慧南(nan)(nan)(nan),開(kai)黃龍派(pai)(pai)。楚(chu)圓(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)在(zai)善昭那里服役七年(nian)(nian),辭去,與內翰(han)楊(yang)大年(nian)(nian)、駙(fu)馬都尉李(li)遵勖(xu)(xu)論禪,從此往(wang)來楊(yang)、李(li)之門,結為朋友(you)。后(hou)以母老(lao)南(nan)(nan)(nan)歸,先(xian)后(hou)游居江(jiang)西洞山(shan)(shan)、宜春仰山(shan)(shan)等(deng)地。宜春太(tai)(tai)守黃宗(zong)(zong)(zong)旦(dan),請居南(nan)(nan)(nan)源,住(zhu)(zhu)三(san)年(nian)(nian),棄去;以后(hou)又(you)(you)謁湘(xiang)陰(yin)神鼎山(shan)(shan)洪湮,從此名重叢林,洪湮對楚(chu)圓(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)的評價是:“楚(chu)圓(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)見解獨到,可(ke)(ke)使(shi)臨濟(ji)興旺(wang)。”他(ta)(ta)先(xian)到道吾(wu)寺(si)(si)(si),次住(zhu)(zhu)石(shi)霜寺(si)(si)(si),又(you)(you)住(zhu)(zhu)南(nan)(nan)(nan)岳(yue)福嚴寺(si)(si)(si)和長沙興化寺(si)(si)(si)。他(ta)(ta)在(zai)方(fang)(fang)(fang)(fang)丈室里插(cha)劍一(yi)口,拿一(yi)只草鞋一(yi)盆(pen)水(shui)放在(zai)劍邊。每遇人來,就說:“看(kan)(kan),看(kan)(kan)。”宋仁(ren)宗(zong)(zong)(zong)寶(bao)元元年(nian)(nian)(1038年(nian)(nian)),李(li)遵勖(xu)(xu)派(pai)(pai)人請他(ta)(ta)到京師,僅(jin)月余,遵勖(xu)(xu)死,楚(chu)圓(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)親自送(song)葬到墳墓山(shan)(shan)。不久,仁(ren)宗(zong)(zong)(zong)賜官(guan)船南(nan)(nan)(nan)歸。仁(ren)宗(zong)(zong)(zong)康定元年(nian)(nian)(1040年(nian)(nian)),圓(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)寂于(yu)長沙興化寺(si)(si)(si),時(shi)(shi)年(nian)(nian)54歲(sui),建(jian)塔(ta)于(yu)瀏(liu)陽石(shi)霜寺(si)(si)(si)。楚(chu)圓(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)時(shi)(shi)當宋太(tai)(tai)宗(zong)(zong)(zong)、真(zhen)(zhen)宗(zong)(zong)(zong)、仁(ren)宗(zong)(zong)(zong)時(shi)(shi)期,在(zai)他(ta)(ta)以前,臨濟(ji)宗(zong)(zong)(zong)僅(jin)流傳于(yu)北方(fang)(fang)(fang)(fang),由于(yu)他(ta)(ta)的努力,才逐(zhu)漸(jian)流傳南(nan)(nan)(nan)方(fang)(fang)(fang)(fang)。其(qi)嗣(si)法弟(di)子有慧南(nan)(nan)(nan)、方(fang)(fang)(fang)(fang)會(hui)、可(ke)(ke)真(zhen)(zhen)、贊元、山(shan)(shan)政、有回、光用、道寬、悟真(zhen)(zhen)、保(bao)心、惟(wei)正、蘊良、惟(wei)廑、德(de)(de)乾(qian)、本言、源禪師、德(de)(de)章等(deng)人,就中以方(fang)(fang)(fang)(fang)會(hui)、慧南(nan)(nan)(nan)二人為最(zui)著。
方會
俗姓(xing)冷,袁(yuan)州宜春人(ren)(ren)(ren)。曾游江西(xi)筠(yun)州九峰(feng)山(shan)(shan)(shan),落發為(wei)僧(seng)(seng)。去(qu)石霜寺(si)參楚(chu)(chu)(chu)圓(yuan)(yuan)并得法(fa),往返袁(yuan)州楊(yang)(yang)歧山(shan)(shan)(shan)傳法(fa),開楊(yang)(yang)歧派(pai);經白云守端、五祖法(fa)演(yan)、龍(long)門清遠(yuan)、雪堂道行、晦庵(an)慧光(guang)、蒙庵(an)元聰(cong)相(xiang)(xiang)繼傳承,又(you)傳到(dao)了日本僧(seng)(seng)人(ren)(ren)(ren)泉誦俊芿。楚(chu)(chu)(chu)圓(yuan)(yuan)的(de)另一法(fa)嗣慧南(nan)俗姓(xing)章(zhang),江西(xi)信(xin)州懷(huai)玉(yu)山(shan)(shan)(shan)人(ren)(ren)(ren)。11歲(sui)(sui)出家,師事懷(huai)玉(yu)山(shan)(shan)(shan)定水院智鑾,19歲(sui)(sui)受(shou)具足(zu)戒(jie),遠(yuan)游至廬(lu)山(shan)(shan)(shan)習禪(chan),困受(shou)南(nan)昌文悅(yue)之(zhi)勸,35歲(sui)(sui)參學,并得法(fa)于石霜楚(chu)(chu)(chu)圓(yuan)(yuan),住(zhu)洪州黃龍(long)山(shan)(shan)(shan)崇(chong)恩禪(chan)院,開黃龍(long)派(pai)。經晦堂祖心、靈源惟(wei)清、長靈守卓、育王介諶、萬年曇(tan)賁、雪庵(an)從(cong)瑾相(xiang)(xiang)繼傳承,又(you)傳至日本僧(seng)(seng)人(ren)(ren)(ren)明庵(an)榮(rong)西(xi)(1141-1215年),他入宋參學,歸國后,首創日本臨(lin)濟(ji)宗黃龍(long)派(pai),黃龍(long)派(pai)在我國數傳即(ji)絕,惟(wei)楊(yang)(yang)歧派(pai)獨盛。楊(yang)(yang)歧方會(hui)傳白云守端,端傳五祖法(fa)演(yan),演(yan)傳圓(yuan)(yuan)悟克勤,勤傳大慧宗杲與虎丘紹隆(long),他們都是(shi)全國性(xing)的(de)禪(chan)宗著(zhu)名(ming)人(ren)(ren)(ren)物。除楚(chu)(chu)(chu)圓(yuan)(yuan)等(deng)人(ren)(ren)(ren)外(wai),其他著(zhu)名(ming)禪(chan)僧(seng)(seng)在石霜寺(si)者(zhe)有(you):法(fa)永(yong),系楚(chu)(chu)(chu)圓(yuan)(yuan)同(tong)門,他的(de)禪(chan)語別有(you)風趣;節(jie)誠,青原九世,云門宗人(ren)(ren)(ren);守孫(sun),楊(yang)(yang)歧方會(hui)嗣法(fa)弟(di)子。這些(xie)人(ren)(ren)(ren)都是(shi)宋朝著(zhu)名(ming)禪(chan)僧(seng)(seng)。

元(yuan)、明兩代石霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)寺(si)處于(yu)衰落階段,至(zhi)清(qing)石霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)寺(si)又逐漸(jian)中興(xing)。中興(xing)人物(wu)是蓮(lian)尊,臨濟宗人。他為(wei)(wei)(wei)開山(shan)祖(zu)師慶(qing)諸禪(chan)師重建(jian)塔墓(mu)(mu),上刻“唐(tang)青(qing)原第五(wu)世普會諸禪(chan)師塔”等字,今猶存。其他修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)建(jian)活動,據(ju)現存碑刻記載:雍正(zheng)十三年(nian)(nian)(1735年(nian)(nian))重修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)大(da)佛殿;乾(qian)隆五(wu)十九年(nian)(nian)(1794年(nian)(nian))修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)山(shan)門(men)、兩廊。次年(nian)(nian)續(xu)有(you)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)建(jian)。光緒五(wu)年(nian)(nian)(1879年(nian)(nian))重修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)大(da)悲閣。至(zhi)于(yu)那(nei)時的管理體制,是法(fa)門(men)叢(cong)林分(fen)六房僧(seng)(seng)(seng)人,依次相繼為(wei)(wei)(wei)住(zhu)持(chi)。迄(qi)民國時,石霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)寺(si)還有(you)香(xiang)火(huo)田112畝。1923年(nian)(nian),又對大(da)雄殿進行(xing)了(le)一(yi)次重修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu),1948年(nian)(nian)石霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)寺(si)住(zhu)持(chi)定宗開壇傳戒,僧(seng)(seng)(seng)俗云集(ji)達千余人。以后傳位于(yu)正(zheng)龍,繼傳法(fa)龍。法(fa)龍,湖南體陵人。1953年(nian)(nian)參加醫務工(gong)作,1984年(nian)(nian)病卒,是石霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)寺(si)最后一(yi)任住(zhu)持(chi)。石霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)寺(si)現存建(jian)筑物(wu)布局是:中軸線(xian)上為(wei)(wei)(wei)山(shan)門(men)、大(da)雄寶殿、大(da)悲閣。東邊(bian)廂房,直排為(wei)(wei)(wei)云水堂,橫排為(wei)(wei)(wei)客堂、庫房、大(da)寮、齊堂、祖(zu)堂。西邊(bian)廂房直排為(wei)(wei)(wei)華嚴閣,橫排為(wei)(wei)(wei)禪(chan)堂、關圣殿、二(er)僧(seng)(seng)(seng)寮、方丈(zhang)。其寺(si)宇布局匠心獨具(ju),不同(tong)于(yu)一(yi)般叢(cong)林。石霜(shuang)(shuang)(shuang)寺(si)現存文(wen)物(wu)主要是:唐(tang)慶(qing)諸植古(gu)松柏、古(gu)銀杏數(shu)株,樹齡一(yi)千多年(nian)(nian);僧(seng)(seng)(seng)人墓(mu)(mu)塔138座(現僅存10座);各類(lei)碑記20塊(kuai)。
政府保護
為(wei)了(le)有計(ji)劃地(di)保護和恢(hui)復(fu)石(shi)霜寺(si)這(zhe)一佛(fo)(fo)教歷史文化古,從1978年起,湖(hu)南省人民政府宗教事務(wu)管理局和長沙市佛(fo)(fo)教協會(hui)曾先后撥款進行維修(xiu)和重(zhong)建,海內外佛(fo)(fo)教徒(tu)也樂為(wei)布施。1991年,臺灣(wan)唯一法(fa)(fa)師捐資新建山門(men)。同(tong)年,國(guo)家劃定(ding)石(shi)霜寺(si)土地(di)使用范圍計(ji)一萬(wan)三千八(ba)百多平方米。1993年,新修(xiu)齊堂、禪堂,增(zeng)設(she)念佛(fo)(fo)堂,并定(ding)為(wei)“比丘叢(cong)林”,每年隆重(zhong)地(di)舉行“佛(fo)(fo)七法(fa)(fa)會(hui)”。
