因山(shan)(shan)形(xing)似(si)一(yi)頭俯(fu)臥(wo)的(de)(de)(de)獅子而得(de)名(ming)。山(shan)(shan)體南(nan)北(bei)走向(xiang),與烏蒙山(shan)(shan)遙遙相(xiang)望。山(shan)(shan)頂平闊,由南(nan)向(xiang)北(bei)緩緩下斜,山(shan)(shan)頂四(si)周(zhou)是(shi)(shi)百(bai)余米(mi)(mi)高(gao)(gao)的(de)(de)(de)陡峭懸(xuan)(xuan)崖(ya),懸(xuan)(xuan)崖(ya)之下,是(shi)(shi)一(yi)片緩沖坡(po)地(di)。獅子山(shan)(shan)頂海拔2419.8米(mi)(mi),山(shan)(shan)腳(jiao)的(de)(de)(de)武(wu)定縣城海拔1740米(mi)(mi),高(gao)(gao)差679.8米(mi)(mi)。風(feng)(feng)景(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)區(qu)(qu)總面積13.6平方(fang)千(qian)米(mi)(mi),整(zheng)個風(feng)(feng)景(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)區(qu)(qu)由古(gu)(gu)剎(cha)景(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)區(qu)(qu),懸(xuan)(xuan)巖(yan)景(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)區(qu)(qu)、林海景(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)區(qu)(qu)組成(cheng),共(gong)36個景(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)區(qu)(qu)。獅子山(shan)(shan)風(feng)(feng)景(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)區(qu)(qu)的(de)(de)(de)入口處為古(gu)(gu)剎(cha)景(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)區(qu)(qu),以正續(xu)禪(chan)(chan)為中心,周(zhou)圍元、明、清(qing)各(ge)時(shi)期的(de)(de)(de)古(gu)(gu)跡甚多(duo),森林茂密(mi),古(gu)(gu)木參天(tian)。古(gu)(gu)剎(cha)景(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)區(qu)(qu)共(gong)有(you)景(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)點11個,其中以正續(xu)禪(chan)(chan)寺(si)為勝(sheng)景(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)。正續(xu)禪(chan)(chan)寺(si)已有(you)670多(duo)年的(de)(de)(de)歷(li)史,經過(guo)(guo)歷(li)代修復擴建(jian),現(xian)占(zhan)地(di)17萬(wan)平方(fang)米(mi)(mi),有(you)殿宇亭閣110多(duo)間。建(jian)筑依山(shan)(shan)就勢,布(bu)(bu)局嚴(yan)謹。大雄(xiong)寶(bao)殿是(shi)(shi)禪(chan)(chan)寺(si)的(de)(de)(de)主體建(jian)筑,為五檐歇山(shan)(shan)頂式土木結構,建(jian)筑面積454平方(fang)米(mi)(mi),大殿南(nan)北(bei)各(ge)有(you)3間樓房(fang)陪(pei)殿。北(bei)側的(de)(de)(de)方(fang)丈室(shi),獨(du)立成(cheng)院,古(gu)(gu)雅(ya)清(qing)幽,春季(ji)牡丹盛開,金秋丹桂飄香。正續(xu)禪(chan)(chan)寺(si)后面的(de)(de)(de)懸(xuan)(xuan)巖(yan)景(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)區(qu)(qu),是(shi)(shi)一(yi)條(tiao)南(nan)北(bei)走向(xiang)長3千(qian)米(mi)(mi)、高(gao)(gao)100多(duo)米(mi)(mi)的(de)(de)(de)石(shi)壁(bi),形(xing)成(cheng)一(yi)道(dao)巨(ju)大的(de)(de)(de)臺(tai)階,地(di)勢十(shi)(shi)分(fen)(fen)險峻,只有(you)幾處攀援(yuan)登(deng)上山(shan)(shan)頂。在這(zhe)條(tiao)石(shi)壁(bi)上,有(you)上倚(yi)絕(jue)壁(bi)下臨深谷的(de)(de)(de)僅(jin)容1人通過(guo)(guo)的(de)(de)(de)鳥道(dao)天(tian)梯、有(you)抬頭只見一(yi)線天(tian)的(de)(de)(de)深淵、有(you)奇形(xing)怪狀似(si)人似(si)獸(shou)的(de)(de)(de)奇巖(yan)怪石(shi)、有(you)依巖(yan)就勢修建(jian)的(de)(de)(de)飛閣懸(xuan)(xuan)亭、云(yun)橋棧(zhan)道(dao),還有(you)巖(yan)洞石(shi)室(shi)、飛泉瀑布(bu)(bu)、老樹古(gu)(gu)藤,自然景(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)觀十(shi)(shi)分(fen)(fen)豐(feng)富。詩人王心鑒游覽后有(you)詩贊曰:竹林古(gu)(gu)寺(si)竹聲喧,翠云(yun)掩映獅子山(shan)(shan)。千(qian)頃福田結如意,萬(wan)竿修筠(yun)報平安。云(yun)卷(juan)云(yun)舒慈悲(bei)國,人往(wang)人來菩(pu)提園(yuan)。無上清(qing)涼悟(wu)大道(dao),種竹原本(ben)是(shi)(shi)參禪(chan)(chan)。
傳說
據傳(chuan)獅(shi)子山(shan)(shan)最早不(bu)像一只獅(shi)子,也不(bu)叫(jiao)獅(shi)子山(shan)(shan),而叫(jiao)"通(tong)天山(shan)(shan)"。通(tong)天山(shan)(shan),高聳人(ren)云,直達天庭(ting),世(shi)人(ren)得(de)知此山(shan)(shan)能通(tong)天庭(ting),于是,有些想到天堂過神仙(xian)日子的人(ren),便(bian)沿著這座山(shan)(shan)涌向天庭(ting)。玉皇(huang)(huang)大(da)帝得(de)知凡人(ren)來到天上,便(bian)命太白金星前去追查(cha)這些人(ren)究竟從何路(lu)而來?當得(de)知通(tong)天山(shan)(shan)這條直通(tong)天庭(ting)的道路(lu)時,玉皇(huang)(huang)大(da)帝即命雷公速將通(tong)天山(shan)(shan)劈(pi)斷。
雷(lei)公得令,立(li)刻來到通(tong)(tong)天山(shan)的(de)上空,揮(hui)動錘楔(xie),用力一擊,只聽一聲霹(pi)靂,通(tong)(tong)天山(shan)被攔腰砍斷,山(shan)頂形(xing)成一個大平(ping)(ping)臺,平(ping)(ping)臺邊緣形(xing)成了百丈懸(xuan)崖。從(cong)此,通(tong)(tong)天山(shan),再也通(tong)(tong)不了天,人(ren)也不能上天了。但人(ren)們都不知道是(shi)誰(shui)將山(shan)劈(pi)斷,于是(shi)便把通(tong)(tong)天山(shan)改稱為"誰(shui)劈(pi)峰"。
又不知過了多少年,有(you)九十(shi)九條白(bai)龍(long)(long)(long)云游到"誰(shui)劈(pi)(pi)峰(feng)",看見這些山清水秀,奇峰(feng)異(yi)境,留戀(lian)不愿離去,便在(zai)山下住了下來。從(cong)此"誰(shui)劈(pi)(pi)峰(feng)"的四(si)周(zhou)流出九十(shi)九股泉水,滋潤(run)著(zhu)武定壩子(zi),造福于人類。人們(men)為(wei)感謝(xie)白(bai)龍(long)(long)(long),就在(zai)山上建了一座白(bai)龍(long)(long)(long)庵,終(zhong)年祭祀。于是又將誰(shui)劈(pi)(pi)峰(feng)改名(ming)為(wei)白(bai)龍(long)(long)(long)山。
又不知過了(le)(le)多少年,有(you)一頭雄(xiong)獅(shi)來到(dao)白(bai)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)山(shan)(shan),見到(dao)山(shan)(shan)勢雄(xiong)偉,水(shui)豐林(lin)茂(mao),也(ye)想在(zai)此定(ding)居,便與白(bai)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)爭奪此山(shan)(shan)。雙方展開了(le)(le)一場生死(si)搏斗,獅(shi)吼龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)嘯,飛沙走(zou)石(shi),狂風暴雨,地動(dong)山(shan)(shan)搖(yao),難(nan)(nan)分難(nan)(nan)解。經過九九八(ba)十(shi)一個晝夜的(de)激戰,白(bai)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)戰敗而逃。有(you)兩條逃往祿勸方向住下,據說就是祿勸境內的(de)二龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)山(shan)(shan)。有(you)二龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)因(yin)負重傷,不能(neng)同其他白(bai)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)一齊逃走(zou),便落在(zai)山(shan)(shan)腳下,據稱是現在(zai)的(de)白(bai)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)箐,其余白(bai)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)逃到(dao)對面的(de)東山(shan)(shan)潛(qian)伏(fu)下來。
潛伏(fu)在(zai)東山(shan)的白(bai)(bai)龍,不(bu)甘心失敗(bai),千方百計總(zong)想(xiang)尋機報仇,收(shou)復被獅(shi)子(zi)搶占的領土。但他們知道憑武(wu)(wu)(wu)力斗(dou)不(bu)過獅(shi)子(zi),于是便把(ba)東山(shan)慢慢地向上拱起,想(xiang)堵住武(wu)(wu)(wu)定壩(ba)(ba)子(zi)的出水(shui),用積水(shui)淹沒獅(shi)子(zi)。武(wu)(wu)(wu)定人(ren)民看(kan)到東山(shan)慢慢長(chang)高,再往上長(chang)便會堵住武(wu)(wu)(wu)定壩(ba)(ba)子(zi)的出水(shui)口,只(zhi)好在(zai)東山(shan)頂上建(jian)了(le)一座(zuo)白(bai)(bai)塔,鎮住東山(shan)再長(chang),這白(bai)(bai)塔現在(zai)還在(zai)巍然屹立東山(shan)之(zhi)巔。而獅(shi)子(zi)也(ye)時(shi)(shi)刻防備白(bai)(bai)龍反(fan)撲報仇,便伸出前爪(zhua),昂(ang)頭弓背伏(fu)臥(wo)在(zai)東山(shan)對面(mian),準備隨(sui)時(shi)(shi)出擊白(bai)(bai)龍的反(fan)撲,就(jiu)成了(le)現在(zai)的臥(wo)獅(shi)。這神(shen)奇的說(shuo)(shuo),更使獅(shi)子(zi)山(shan)充滿誘人(ren)的色彩……在(zai)許許多多的傳(chuan)說(shuo)(shuo)故(gu)事中(zhong),有(you)關明朝建(jian)文帝(di)削發為(wei)僧,來(lai)獅(shi)子(zi)山(shan)當(dang)和(he)尚(shang)的神(shen)奇故(gu)事,在(zai)武(wu)(wu)(wu)定壩(ba)(ba)子(zi)里更是家喻(yu)戶曉,婦孺皆知,情(qing)節生(sheng)動感人(ren),"鉤擔戳出月牙(ya)潭",便是眾(zhong)多傳(chuan)說(shuo)(shuo)之(zhi)一。
歷史
跨進獅(shi)山之間(jian),在(zai)茂密(mi)的(de)(de)(de)(de)常綠闊葉林中,迎面(mian)便(bian)是一(yi)(yi)座森嚴(yan)而(er)(er)壯觀的(de)(de)(de)(de)佛寺,現名正續禪寺。正續禪寺建(jian)于元代至大(da)四年(nian)(nian)(公元1331年(nian)(nian))是為正寺;后(hou)經印度名僧指空(kong)擴建(jian),是為續寺。 寺內(nei)大(da)雄寶(bao)殿雄偉,周(zhou)圍的(de)(de)(de)(de)庭(ting)院(yuan)以(yi)及(ji)樓臺(tai)亭閣布局巧妙,工藝(yi)精湛,遍布于其間(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)各(ge)種碑(bei)刻、楹聯出自歷代名家之手,有(you)著豐富的(de)(de)(de)(de)文(wen)化內(nei)涵(han)。在(zai)大(da)雄寶(bao)殿前,生長著數株古(gu)松柏(bo),據說也有(you)上千年(nian)(nian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)歷史,為這(zhe)座古(gu)剎增(zeng)添了神(shen)秘的(de)(de)(de)(de)色彩(cai)。正續禪寺后(hou)面(mian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)藏(zang)經樓,依山而(er)(er)起,幾乎(hu)與(yu)獅(shi)山主峰融為一(yi)(yi)體。樓下的(de)(de)(de)(de)祠(ci)閣所供的(de)(de)(de)(de)是建(jian)文(wen)皇帝(di)(di)座前的(de)(de)(de)(de)木柱繪有(you)金燦燦的(de)(de)(de)(de)天龍這(zhe)一(yi)(yi)作為寺院(yuan)組成部分(fen)的(de)(de)(de)(de)皇帝(di)(di)祠(ci)閣,喚起人(ren)們對歷史的(de)(de)(de)(de)記憶(yi)。
寺內大雄寶(bao)殿(dian)的柱子上,則(ze)有這樣一(yi)副楹聯(lian)(lian):“僧(seng)(seng)為(wei)(wei)帝(di),帝(di)亦為(wei)(wei)僧(seng)(seng),數十載衣(yi)(yi)缽相傳,正(zheng)覺(jue)(jue)依然皇覺(jue)(jue)舊;叔(shu)負(fu)侄,侄不負(fu)叔(shu),八千里芒鞋徒步,獅山(shan)更比燕(yan)山(shan)高。”聯(lian)(lian)內所說的皇覺(jue)(jue)寺,指(zhi)朱(zhu)(zhu)元璋(zhang)早年為(wei)(wei)僧(seng)(seng)之所;“叔(shu)負(fu)侄”指(zhi)朱(zhu)(zhu)棣篡奪了侄兒(er)朱(zhu)(zhu)允炆的帝(di)位。顯然,作此聯(lian)(lian)的古(gu)人堅信朱(zhu)(zhu)允炆曾在此為(wei)(wei)僧(seng)(seng),并寄(ji)以同情(qing)。聯(lian)(lian)中“衣(yi)(yi)缽相傳”語,概括了祖父朱(zhu)(zhu)元璋(zhang)由僧(seng)(seng)為(wei)(wei)帝(di),孫子朱(zhu)(zhu)允炆由帝(di)為(wei)(wei)僧(seng)(seng)的滄桑(sang)巨變,構思精奇,說盡了這段(duan)千古(gu)巧合的無情(qing)史實!
