內容介紹

在(zai)一家古舊的旅館內(nei)，員(yuan)工們都去歡度新年假期，只有一個(ge)小侍(shi)應生(Tim Roth 蒂姆·羅素飾(shi))留守。當(dang)夜，光怪陸離的事件(jian)輪番上演：

1，一群女(nv)巫準備在當晚(wan)復活他(ta)們(men)的(de)女(nv)神，而她們(men)卻(que)弄丟了至關(guan)重要的(de)精(jing)液，小侍應生臨時客串，勇(yong)敢獻身(shen)。

2，善妒的(de)丈夫懷(huai)疑妻子與(yu)他(ta)人有染，遂將妻子綁在椅子上，倒(dao)霉(mei)的(de)侍應生則被當作奸夫，手(shou)槍抵頭，命懸一線。

3，富翁夫妻(qi)參加新年宴(yan)會，將子女留在房間中。兩個(ge)淘氣的小家伙展開了一場大戰，卻看到了恐(kong)怖的一幕。

4，幾名好萊塢演員湊在房間中玩打(da)火機游(you)戲，每(mei)人打(da)十下(xia)(xia)(xia)，十下(xia)(xia)(xia)連續打(da)著就(jiu)會贏得一(yi)(yi)部跑(pao)車，反之(zhi)有一(yi)(yi)下(xia)(xia)(xia)不著便要切掉一(yi)(yi)根手指。侍應生被臨時(shi)找來充當(dang)劊子(zi)手。

本片由四個(ge)短(duan)片構成，前兩個(ge)略帶(dai)神(shen)(shen)秘和(he)色情的(de)(de)小故(gu)(gu)事，雖然能夠短(duan)暫地吸引觀眾的(de)(de)視線，但轉眼(yan)就會被忘(wang)得(de)干(gan)干(gan)凈(jing)凈(jing)。神(shen)(shen)秘的(de)(de)都市巫女們，卻像舞女一樣寬(kuan)衣解(jie)帶(dai)，嘴里一面說著無聊的(de)(de)貌似哲(zhe)理的(de)(de)語(yu)言，一面也沒有忘(wang)記用上幾(ji)句塔倫蒂諾式的(de)(de)帶(dai)勁的(de)(de)臺詞。羅德(de)里格茲那(nei)一段故(gu)(gu)事表現得(de)和(he)他以(yi)后的(de)(de)作(zuo)品(pin)一樣花哨、機巧，卻也同樣空(kong)洞，但這(zhe)也可(ke)以(yi)說是影片向最后一個(ge)優(you)秀部分的(de)(de)過渡(du)。說它“優(you)秀”，其(qi)實也無非是和(he)前面的(de)(de)乏味相比較，塔倫蒂諾至少也平平穩穩地展現了自己(ji)在這(zhe)幾(ji)個(ge)獨立電(dian)影制作(zuo)人中的(de)(de)才華和(he)地位。

最后一(yi)(yi)個段落(luo)里，塔(ta)倫(lun)蒂(di)諾不僅自(zi)己飾演(yan)“自(zi)己”——一(yi)(yi)個剛剛在好萊塢出名的(de)電影(ying)人(ren)，一(yi)(yi)個什么時(shi)候都不甘寂寞(mo)的(de)“好萊塢痞子(zi)”，一(yi)(yi)個喜歡冒險和刺(ci)激的(de)“明星(xing)動物(wu)”，而(er)(er)(er)且還請出動作大腕布魯斯·威(wei)利斯助陣，比(bi)起前面客串(chuan)的(de)麥當娜來(lai)說又更勝(sheng)一(yi)(yi)籌。這的(de)確是(shi)(shi)(shi)檢閱美國新興獨(du)立制片電影(ying)人(ren)的(de)一(yi)(yi)部集(ji)錦片，雖(sui)然只是(shi)(shi)(shi)短片組合，但也(ye)基本能夠讓所有觀眾(zhong)看(kan)個清楚(chu)。塔(ta)倫(lun)蒂(di)諾雖(sui)有才盡之嫌(xian)，但畢竟還是(shi)(shi)(shi)這一(yi)(yi)伙人(ren)之中的(de)“江郎(lang)”，而(er)(er)(er)羅德里格(ge)茲也(ye)勉強堪當一(yi)(yi)面，而(er)(er)(er)另外兩位就實在是(shi)(shi)(shi)有點濫(lan)竽充數的(de)味道(dao)了。這部影(ying)片從(cong)取材到處(chu)理方式，都是(shi)(shi)(shi)十足的(de)美國獨(du)立制片感覺：夸張(zhang)、略帶(dai)魔(mo)幻、看(kan)似哲理、頹敗刺(ci)激、臺詞市井……
