創作背景

60年代是美國音(yin)樂(le)(le)(le)界的(de)(de)自由(you)創作(zuo)時期(qi)，搖(yao)(yao)滾樂(le)(le)(le)的(de)(de)流(liu)行成(cheng)為(wei)60年代自由(you)與反叛(pan)思想的(de)(de)象征，然而(er)其盛況也逐漸造成(cheng)了樂(le)(le)(le)手日益糜爛的(de)(de)生活(huo)態度。吸毒和淫(yin)亂幾(ji)乎成(cheng)了每個美國搖(yao)(yao)滾樂(le)(le)(le)手在70年代走的(de)(de)同一條墮(duo)落之(zhi)路，金錢與享樂(le)(le)(le)成(cheng)為(wei)了搖(yao)(yao)滾音(yin)樂(le)(le)(le)在70年代的(de)(de)新(xin)形象。

同為音樂(le)(le)人的(de)(de)老鷹樂(le)(le)隊(dui)(dui)看到這(zhe)樣的(de)(de)事實，卻無能為力。樂(le)(le)手們(men)已經將這(zhe)種沉迷的(de)(de)生(sheng)活看成了是音樂(le)(le)界(jie)的(de)(de)常(chang)態(tai)，搖滾樂(le)(le)手們(men)周圍總充滿了漂亮的(de)(de)姑(gu)娘(niang)和糜(mi)爛的(de)(de)生(sheng)活。于是，樂(le)(le)隊(dui)(dui)創作了這(zhe)首《加州旅館》。
