葉小鸞(1616~1632) 明(ming)末才女。字瓊(qiong)章,一字瑤期,吳江(jiang)(今屬江(jiang)蘇蘇州(zhou))人,文(wen)學家(jia)葉紹袁、沈宜修(xiu)幼女。貌姣好,工詩,善(shan)圍棋及琴,又能畫,繪(hui)山水(shui)及落花飛(fei)碟,皆有(you)韻致,將嫁而卒,有(you)集名《返生香》。
父葉紹(shao)袁,天啟進士(shi),官工部(bu)主事;母沈(shen)宜(yi)修,字(zi)(zi)宛(wan)君(jun),均工詩(shi)詞,偕隱分湖。小鸞(luan)(luan)為沈(shen)宜(yi)修的(de)第三個女(nv)兒(er),剛出生時,宜(yi)修念及家貧乏乳(ru)也(ye)念及表妹張(zhang)(zhang)倩(qian)倩(qian)子女(nv)俱亡,將小鸞(luan)(luan)送予沈(shen)自征、張(zhang)(zhang)倩(qian)倩(qian)撫養。小鸞(luan)(luan)靈慧(hui)早(zao)熟,工于詩(shi)律。“三四歲(sui),口授《萬首(shou)唐人絕(jue)句》及《花間》、《草(cao)堂》諸詞,皆朗然(ran)成(cheng)(cheng)誦(song),終卷不遺一字(zi)(zi)。”10歲(sui)時養母去世遂歸葉家,能(neng)成(cheng)(cheng)妙(miao)對,12歲(sui)濃發(fa)覆額,體(ti)質修長,娟(juan)好如(ru)玉人;隨父到了金陵,教之(zhi)學詠,遂從此能(neng)詩(shi),多佳句。14歲(sui)能(neng)弈(yi)棋,16歲(sui)善彈琴,清泠可聽(ting)。又(you)擅(shan)繪畫,摹山水,寫花蝶,書法亦秀勁。
小鸞性格高曠,厭繁(fan)華,愛煙霞(xia),通禪(chan)理。自恃穎姿,視(shi)金(jin)錢若(ruo)污(wu)物,淡然無(wu)求,而(er)(er)濟楚清雅,所最喜(xi)矣。能飲酒,善(shan)言笑(xiao),瀟灑多(duo)致,高情曠達,仁慈寬厚(hou)。許(xu)配(pei)昆(kun)山(shan)張維魯長子立平(ping)為妻,婚(hun)前五日,未嫁而(er)(er)卒,時(shi)年僅(jin)十七(qi)歲(虛歲)。七(qi)日入棺,舉體輕盈(ying)。家人咸以為仙(xian)去(qu)。其姐葉(xie)紈紈因妹逝(shi),歸哭過哀(ai),病發而(er)(er)死。
葉小鸞墓在(zai)葉家埭東南一(yi)(yi)里多的大富圩。葉小鸞歿于明崇禎五年(nian)(nian)(1632年(nian)(nian))十(shi)月十(shi)一(yi)(yi)日,年(nian)(nian)僅(jin)十(shi)七歲,離婚期只剩五天。
1923年,柳(liu)亞子(zi)與沈長公訪小(xiao)鸞墓(mu)(mu)(mu),并寫(xie)了一首《葉瓊章(zhang)墓(mu)(mu)(mu)道歌》,表示想(xiang)在墓(mu)(mu)(mu)地旁(pang)種下萬株梅(mei)花。后(hou)來(lai),經(jing)柳(liu)亞子(zi)、葉楚傖等的(de)提議(yi)及捐助,寶生庵得以恢復(fu)原貌。墓(mu)(mu)(mu)碑上(shang)“葉小(xiao)鸞之墓(mu)(mu)(mu)”由葉氏族長葉藜(li)仙題寫(xie)。
1958年,修建318國道時墓(mu)(mu)遭到嚴重破(po)壞。1982年文(wen)物普查(cha),發現了在(zai)生產隊倉庫的(de)墓(mu)(mu)碑。這(zhe)塊墓(mu)(mu)碑現在(zai)保存于張應(ying)春烈士紀(ji)念(nian)館(guan)。
小(xiao)鸞有集名(ming)《返(fan)生香》,收詩(shi)103首(shou)(shou)、偈1首(shou)(shou)、詞90首(shou)(shou)、曲(qu)1首(shou)(shou)、擬(ni)連珠9首(shou)(shou)、序1篇(pian)、偈2篇(pian)。
陳維崧《婦(fu)人集》評葉氏三女才調以(yi)“瓊(qiong)章尤(you)英徹,如玉(yu)山(shan)之(zhi)映(ying)人,詩詞絕有思致”。
胡文(wen)楷(kai)《歷代婦女著作考》卷五曰:“七占及(ji)絕(jue)句(ju),視姊(zi)為勝。詩徐清麗相當,而時(shi)有至語。擬(ni)其態(tai)制,正如花紅雪白,光悅宜(yi)人。而一語纏綿,復耐人尋咀。驕麗之文(wen),涉筆便工。”
王端淑《名媛詩(shi)緯》說:”詞家口頭語,正寫(xie)不出,在筆尖頭;寫(xie)得出便輕(qing)松流麗,淡處見濃,閑處耐想,足以(yi)供人咀(ju)味。何必蘇、劉、秦、柳始稱(cheng)上(shang)品(pin)?”
陳廷焯《白雨齋詞(ci)話》卷二曰:“葉小鸞(luan)詞(ci)筆哀艷,不(bu)減朱淑(shu)真。求諸明代作者,尤不(bu)易見也(ye)。”卷五曰:“閨(gui)秀工(gong)為(wei)詞(ci)者,前有(you)李(li)易安,后則徐湘萍(ping),明末葉小鸞(luan)較勝于朱淑(shu)真,可為(wei)李(li)、徐之(zhi)亞。”
沈(shen)宜修《季(ji)女(nv)瓊章傳(chuan)》
女名小鸞,字瓊(qiong)章,又(you)字瑤(yao)期,余(yu)第(di)三女也。生才六(liu)月(yue),即(ji)撫于君(jun)庸舅(jiu)家。明年春,余(yu)父自東魯掛冠歸,余(yu)歸寧,值兒周歲,頗穎秀。妗母(mu)即(ji)余(yu)表妹張(zhang)氏,端麗明智人也,數向余(yu)言,是兒靈慧,后日當齊班蔡,姿(zi)容亦非尋常比者。
四歲,能(neng)誦《離騷》。不數遍,即能(neng)了了。又令識(shi)字,他日故以謬戲之,兒云(yun):“非也,母誤耶?”舅與妗甚憐愛之。十歲歸家,時初寒(han),清燈夜坐,檻(jian)外風竹(zhu)瀟(xiao)瀟(xiao),簾前(qian)月(yue)明如晝。余因語云(yun):“桂寒(han)清露濕。”兒即應云(yun):“楓冷亂紅凋。”爾時喜其(qi)敏(min)捷,有柳絮(xu)因風之思 。悲夫!豈竟為不壽之征乎?
后遭妗母(mu)之(zhi)(zhi)變(bian),舅又(you)久滯燕都,每言(yan)念顧復之(zhi)(zhi)情,無不唏(xi)噓(xu)泣下。兒(er)(er)體質姣長,十(shi)二歲發已覆額,娟好如玉人。隨父金陵,覽長干桃葉,教之(zhi)(zhi)學詠,遂從此(ci)能(neng)詩。今(jin)檢遺篋中,無復一存,想(xiang)以小時語未工(gong),兒(er)(er)自棄(qi)去邪?十(shi)四歲能(neng)弈。十(shi)六歲有族姑善琴,略(lve)為指教,即(ji)通數調(diao),清泠(ling)可聽,嵇(ji)康所(suo)云“英聲(sheng)發越,采采粲粲”也。家有畫(hua)卷(juan),即(ji)能(neng)摹寫。今(jin)夏,君牧弟以畫(hua)扇寄余(yu),兒(er)(er)仿之(zhi)(zhi)甚(shen)似。又(you)見(jian)藤箋上作落花飛蝶,甚(shen)有風雅之(zhi)(zhi)致(zhi)。但無師傳(chuan)授,又(you)學未久, 不能(neng)精工(gong)耳。
性高曠,厭(yan)繁華(hua),愛(ai)煙(yan)霞,通禪理(li)。自恃穎姿,嘗(chang)言欲博盡今古,為父所(suo)鐘愛(ai)。然于(yu)姊妹中(zhong),略無(wu)恃愛(ai)之(zhi)色(se)。或有(you)所(suo)與,必與兩姊共之(zhi)。然貧士所(suo)與,不(bu)過紙(zhi)筆書香而已。衣服不(bu)喜(xi)新(xin),即今年(nian)春(chun)夏(xia)來,余制羅衫裙幾件,為更其(qi)舊者,竟不(bu)見著。至死時檢之(zhi),猶未開折也(ye),其(qi)性儉如此。因結褵將近,家貧無(wu)所(suo)措辦,父為百計營貸(dai)。兒意甚不(bu)樂,謂荊釵裙布,貧士之(zhi)常,父何自苦為。然又非纖嗇(se),視金錢(qian)若浼,淡然無(wu)求,而濟(ji)楚清雅(ya),所(suo)最喜(xi)矣。
兒(er)(er)鬒發(fa)素額,修眉玉頰,丹(dan)唇皓齒,端鼻媚(mei)靨,明(ming)眸善睞,秀(xiu)色可餐,無妖艷之(zhi)態,無脂粉之(zhi)氣。比(bi)(bi)梅花,覺梅花太瘦;比(bi)(bi)海(hai)棠(tang),覺海(hai)棠(tang)少清。故名為豐麗,實是(shi)逸韻風生(sheng)。若謂有(you)韻致(zhi)人。不(bu)(bu)免(mian)輕佻,則(ze)又(you)端嚴(yan)莊靚。總之(zhi)王夫人林下之(zhi)風,顧家(jia)婦(fu)閨房之(zhi)秀(xiu),兼有(you)之(zhi)耳。父嘗戲(xi)謂兒(er)(er)有(you)絕世之(zhi)姿,兒(er)(er)必慍曰:“女子傾城之(zhi)色,何(he)所(suo)取(qu)貴(gui),父何(he)必加之(zhi)于(yu)兒(er)(er)?”己巳十四歲,與(yu)余同(tong)過舅家(jia),歸時君晦舅贈兒(er)(er)詩,有(you)“南國(guo)無雙應自(zi)貴(gui),北(bei)方獨立詎(ju)為慚,飛去廣寒(han)身似許,比(bi)(bi)來玉帳貌如甘”之(zhi)句,皆非(fei)兒(er)(er)意中所(suo)悅也。一日曉(xiao)起,立余床前(qian),面酥(su)未(wei)洗,宿發(fa)未(wei)梳(shu),風韻神致(zhi),亭亭無比(bi)(bi)。余戲(xi)謂之(zhi)曰:“兒(er)(er)嗔人贊汝色美(mei),今(jin)粗(cu)服亂頭,尚且如此,真所(suo)謂笑(xiao)笑(xiao)生(sheng)芳(fang),步步生(sheng)妍(yan)矣,我見猶(you)憐,未(wei)知畫眉人道汝何(he)如?”悲夫!孰意兒(er)(er)床前(qian)之(zhi)立今(jin)不(bu)(bu)復見,夫婦(fu)不(bu)(bu)得一識面乎!
作詩不喜作艷語,集中(zhong)(zhong)或有艷句,是詠物之(zhi)興,填詞之(zhi)體,如秦少游、晏小山代閨人為(wei)之(zhi)耳(er)。如夢(meng)中(zhong)(zhong)所作《鷓鴣天》,此其志也。每日臨王子(zi)敬(jing)《洛神(shen)賦》,或懷素(su)草書(shu),不分(fen)寒暑,靜(jing)坐北(bei)窗(chuang)下(xia),一爐香相對(dui)終日。余喚之(zhi)出(chu)中(zhong)(zhong)庭,方出(chu),否則默默與琴書(shu)為(wei)伴而(er)已。其愛清(qing)幽(you) 恬寂,有過人者。又(you)最不喜拘檢,能飲酒(jiu),善言笑(xiao),瀟灑多致(zhi),高情曠達,夷然不屑也。
性仁慈寬(kuan)厚。侍女紅于,未曾(ceng)一(yi)加呵責(ze)。識鑒明達,不拘今(jin)昔(xi)間事(shi),言下即了然徹解。或有所評論,定出余之上。余曰:“汝非(fei)我女,我小友也。”
九月十(shi)五日(ri)粥后,猶教六(liu)弟世(shi)倌暨幼妹小繁讀(du)《楚辭》。即(ji)是(shi)日(ri),婿家(jia)行催(cui)妝禮至,而(er)兒即(ji)于(yu)(yu)是(shi)夕病(bing)矣(yi)(yi)。于(yu)(yu)歸已(yi)近,竟成(cheng)不(bu)起(qi)(qi)之疾。十(shi)月十(shi)日(ri),父不(bu)得(de)已(yi),許婿來就婚,即(ji)至房中對兒云:“我已(yi)許彼(bi)矣(yi)(yi),努力自攝(she),無誤佳期。”兒默默然。父出,即(ji)喚紅于(yu)(yu)問曰(yue):“今日(ri)何日(ri) ?”云十(shi)月初十(shi)。兒嘆曰(yue):“如此甚速,如何來得(de)及。”未(wei)免以病(bing)未(wei)有(you)起(qi)(qi)色,婿家(jia)催(cui)迫(po)為焦耳。不(bu)意至次(ci)日(ri)天(tian)明,遂有(you)此慘禍也。聞(wen)病(bing)者體重(zhong)則危,兒雖(sui)憊,舉體輕便,神氣清爽。臨終略無惛迷之色,會欲起(qi)(qi)坐(zuo),余恐久病(bing)無力,不(bu)禁(jin)勞動(dong),扶枕余臂間,星眸炯炯,念佛之聲(sheng),明朗清徹,須臾(yu)而(er)逝。余并呼數聲(sheng),兒已(yi)不(bu)復(fu)聞(wen)矣(yi)(yi)。
初見兒之死也,驚悼(dao)不知所出,肝腸裂盡,血淚(lei)成枯。后(hou)徐思之,兒豈凡骨(gu),若(ruo)非瑤島玉女,必(bi)靈(ling)鷲之侍者,應是(shi)再(zai)來人,豈能久居塵世耶(ye)?死后(hou)日(ri)夜(ye)望其再(zai)生,故至七(qi)日(ri)方入殮。雖芳容消瘦已甚,面光猶(you)雪,唇紅如(ru)故。余含(han)淚(lei)書(shu)“瓊章(zhang)”二字(zi)臂上,尚柔(rou)白(bai)可愛,但骨(gu)瘦冰冷耳,痛哉(zai)!
初,兒輩在外塾各有紙記遍(bian),余仿(fang)樣(yang)以(yi)木(mu)為(wei)之(zhi),取其不易損壞。茲九月(yue)初,兒亦請作(zuo)一(yi)面,手書其上“石徑(jing)春風(feng)長綠苔”一(yi)句(ju)。問之(zhi),曰(yue):“兒酷愛(ai)此語。”爾時不覺,今憶之(zhi),乃劉商(shang)詩,上句(ju)是“仙人來往行無(wu)跡”也。豈非讖乎(hu)?兒真仙去無(wu)疑(yi)矣。
十一(yi)月初二夜(ye),五(wu)兒(er)(er)(er)世(shi)儋夢(meng)見兒(er)(er)(er)在一(yi)深松茂(mao)柏茅庵中憑幾(ji)閱書,幅巾淡服,神色怡暢(chang)。傍有(you)(you)烹茶人(ren),不(bu)許五(wu)兒(er)(er)(er)入(ru)戶,隔窗(chuang)與(yu)語(yu)而別。五(wu)兒(er)(er)(er)尚幼,故但(dan)能憶夢(meng)境,不(bu)復(fu)憶所語(yu)也(ye)。五(wu)兒(er)(er)(er)云:“山名亦恍恍若憶,覺后忘之。”后數(shu)日,大兒(er)(er)(er)世(shi)佺。亦夢(meng)見以松實(shi)數(shu)合相(xiang)(xiang)遺(yi)。余記(ji)陳子(zi)昂詩,有(you)(you)“還逢赤松子(zi),天(tian)路坐相(xiang)(xiang)邀”之句(ju)。兒(er)(er)(er)之夙慧(hui)異常,當(dang)果為仙都邀去(qu)耳(er)。或有(you)(you)譏余妄言,效(xiao)古《長恨歌》之說。嗚呼!愛女一(yi)死,痛腸(chang)難盡,淚眼追思,實(shi)實(shi)寫(xie)出(chu),豈效(xiao)才人(ren)作小(xiao)說欺世(shi)邪(xie)?
兒生于(yu)丙辰(chen)年(nian)(nian)三月(yue)初(chu)八(ba)日(ri)(ri)(ri)卯時,卒(zu)(zu)于(yu)崇禎壬申年(nian)(nian)十(shi)月(yue)十(shi)一(yi)日(ri)(ri)(ri)卯時,年(nian)(nian)十(shi)有七歲(sui),許字昆山張家,婿名立平(ping),長我(wo)女一(yi)歲(sui),蚤有文(wen)譽,卜(bu)于(yu)是月(yue)十(shi)六日(ri)(ri)(ri)成婚,先期五日(ri)(ri)(ri)而卒(zu)(zu),夫婦(fu)不及一(yi)相見(jian)。余所未經之慘,恐亦世(shi)間未有之事,傷(shang)哉痛哉!此肝腸寸碎中(zhong)略(lve)記一(yi)二,不能盡述也。

字瓊(qiong)章,吳江(jiang)人(ren),工(gong)部郎中(zhong)葉(xie)紹(shao)袁(yuan)(yuan)之(zhi)季女也(ye)(ye)。母沈(shen)氏(shi)(shi)(shi),名(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)宜修,伯姊名(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)紈(wan)(wan)紈(wan)(wan),俱(ju)工(gong)詞翰。紈(wan)(wan)紈(wan)(wan)嫁趙田(tian)袁(yuan)(yuan)氏(shi)(shi)(shi),日(ri)(ri)誦佛(fo)(fo)(fo)經。年(nian)二(er)十(shi)三(san)(san),得(de)疾,危坐唱(chang)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)名(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)而(er)(er)逝(shi)。小(xiao)(xiao)鸞(luan)(luan)四歲(sui)能(neng)誦《楚辭》,十(shi)二(er)歲(sui)能(neng)詩,稍長能(neng)鼓琴(qin)。好臨(lin)子敬《洛神(shen)賦》及《藏真帖》。焚香(xiang)宴坐,灑(sa)如也(ye)(ye)。年(nian)十(shi)七字于張(zhang)生。行有日(ri)(ri)矣(yi),俄而(er)(er)有疾,佛(fo)(fo)(fo)聲朗然,須臾化去(qu)。七日(ri)(ri)就(jiu)木(mu),舉體輕(qing)軟。事(shi)在(zai)崇禎五年(nian)。吳門有神(shen)降(jiang)于乩(ji),自言(yan)天臺(tai)泐子,在(zai)陳隋間為智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)者大(da)(da)師(shi)(shi)(shi)弟子,已而(er)(er)轉女人(ren)身,墮鬼(gui)神(shen)道(dao)。遇大(da)(da)師(shi)(shi)(shi)接引,頓(dun)悟宿因,遂(sui)借乩(ji)示現(xian),闡天臺(tai)止觀(guan)法門。時紹(shao)袁(yuan)(yuan)甚(shen)念(nian)(nian)小(xiao)(xiao)鸞(luan)(luan),遂(sui)迎泐師(shi)(shi)(shi)至家。以小(xiao)(xiao)鸞(luan)(luan)問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)。師(shi)(shi)(shi)曰(yue):“此月府侍書女也(ye)(ye),其名(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)寒簧(huang)。”問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)今(jin)(jin)在(zai)何(he)處(chu)。曰(yue):“緱山(shan)仙府。”問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)可招(zhao)之(zhi)至乎。師(shi)(shi)(shi)初不(bu)可,再三(san)(san)請而(er)(er)后許之(zhi)。小(xiao)(xiao)鸞(luan)(luan)至,紹(shao)袁(yuan)(yuan)問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)以去(qu)來事(shi)。小(xiao)(xiao)鸞(luan)(luan)曰(yue):“菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)有變易生死,眾生有分(fen)段(duan)生死,兒猶在(zai)分(fen)段(duan)中(zhong)。去(qu)時但見(jian)金(jin)童(tong)玉女,建紫金(jin)幢,赤珊(shan)瑚節(jie),大(da)(da)紅流蘇結為臺(tai)閣。赤猊駕橋(qiao),赤虬驂乘。爾時殊樂,不(bu)知苦也(ye)(ye)。”問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)答(da)(da)(da)(da)未竟,師(shi)(shi)(shi)曰(yue):“無(wu)(wu)明(ming)緣(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)行,行緣(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)識,識緣(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)名(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)色,名(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)色緣(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)六(liu)入,六(liu)入緣(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)觸(chu),觸(chu)緣(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)受(shou),受(shou)緣(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)愛(ai),愛(ai)緣(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)取,取緣(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)有有緣(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)生。生緣(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)老死憂悲苦惱,君諦(di)聽之(zhi),我當細講。”停乩(ji)良(liang)久,師(shi)(shi)(shi)曰(yue):“善(shan)哉(zai)!割(ge)愛(ai)第一。”小(xiao)(xiao)鸞(luan)(luan)作(zuo)(zuo)詩呈師(shi)(shi)(shi)曰(yue):“弱水(shui)安(an)能(neng)制毒龍(long),竿頭一轉拜師(shi)(shi)(shi)功。從(cong)今(jin)(jin)別卻芙蓉主,永侍猊床沐下風(feng)(feng)。”且曰(yue):“愿從(cong)大(da)(da)師(shi)(shi)(shi)受(shou)記,不(bu)復(fu)往仙府矣(yi)。”師(shi)(shi)(shi)因為審戒(jie),問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)殺否(fou)(fou)。”答(da)(da)(da)(da):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)。”師(shi)(shi)(shi)問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)如何(he)。答(da)(da)(da)(da):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)呼小(xiao)(xiao)玉除花(hua)虱,也(ye)(ye)遣輕(qing)紈(wan)(wan)壞蜨衣。”問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)盜否(fou)(fou)。”答(da)(da)(da)(da):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)。不(bu)知新綠誰家樹,怪(guai)底清(qing)簫何(he)處(chu)聲。”問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)淫否(fou)(fou)。”答(da)(da)(da)(da):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)。晚鏡偷窺眉曲曲,春裙親(qin)繡鳥雙(shuang)雙(shuang)。”問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)妄言(yan)否(fou)(fou)。”答(da)(da)(da)(da):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)。自謂(wei)(wei)前生歡喜地,詭云今(jin)(jin)坐辯才天。”問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)綺語(yu)否(fou)(fou)。”答(da)(da)(da)(da):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)。團(tuan)香(xiang)制就(jiu)夫人(ren)字,鏤雪裝(zhuang)成幼(you)婦詞。”問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)兩(liang)舌否(fou)(fou)。”答(da)(da)(da)(da):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)。對月意(yi)添(tian)愁(chou)喜句,拈(nian)花(hua)評出短長謠(yao)。”問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)惡(e)口否(fou)(fou)。”答(da)(da)(da)(da):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)。生怕簾(lian)開譏燕子,為憐花(hua)謝罵(ma)東風(feng)(feng)。”問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)貪(tan)否(fou)(fou)。”答(da)(da)(da)(da):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)。經營緗帙成千軸,辛苦鶯(ying)花(hua)滿一庭。”問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)嗔(chen)否(fou)(fou)。”答(da)(da)(da)(da):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)。怪(guai)他(ta)道(dao)蘊敲(qiao)枯硯,薄(bo)彼(bi)崔徽撲玉釵。”問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)癡否(fou)(fou)。”答(da)(da)(da)(da):“曾(ceng)(ceng)(ceng)犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)。勉(mian)棄珠環收漢(han)玉,戲捐粉(fen)盒葬花(hua)魂。”師(shi)(shi)(shi)曰(yue):“善(shan)哉(zai)!子所犯(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)(fan)者,獨綺語(yu)一戒(jie)耳。”遂(sui)與之(zhi)戒(jie),名(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)曰(yue)“智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)斷(duan)(duan)(duan)”。小(xiao)(xiao)鸞(luan)(luan)問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)何(he)謂(wei)(wei)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。師(shi)(shi)(shi)曰(yue):“有道(dao)種(zhong)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),一切(qie)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),一切(qie)種(zhong)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。”又問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)何(he)謂(wei)(wei)斷(duan)(duan)(duan)。師(shi)(shi)(shi)曰(yue):“斷(duan)(duan)(duan)見(jian)思惑,斷(duan)(duan)(duan)塵沙惑,斷(duan)(duan)(duan)無(wu)(wu)明(ming)惑。三(san)(san)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)應修,三(san)(san)惑應斷(duan)(duan)(duan)。菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)有智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)德,有斷(duan)(duan)(duan)德。智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、斷(duan)(duan)(duan)者,菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)之(zhi)二(er)德也(ye)(ye)。”小(xiao)(xiao)鸞(luan)(luan)曰(yue):“菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)以無(wu)(wu)所得(de),故(gu)得(de)。應以無(wu)(wu)所斷(duan)(duan)(duan),故(gu)斷(duan)(duan)(duan)。”師(shi)(shi)(shi)驚曰(yue):“吾不(bu)敢以神(shen)仙待子也(ye)(ye),可謂(wei)(wei)迥(jiong)絕(jue)無(wu)(wu)際(ji)矣(yi)。”遂(sui)字之(zhi)曰(yue)“絕(jue)際(ji)”。其年(nian)秋(qiu)沈(shen)宜人(ren)亦(yi)逝(shi)。明(ming)年(nian)四月,紹(shao)袁(yuan)(yuan)再邀師(shi)(shi)(shi),師(shi)(shi)(shi)引沈(shen)氏(shi)(shi)(shi)及紈(wan)(wan)紈(wan)(wan)、小(xiao)(xiao)鸞(luan)(luan)偕至。時師(shi)(shi)(shi)開無(wu)(wu)葉(xie)堂,度諸女人(ren)夙有慧根者,沈(shen)宜人(ren)母子俱(ju)從(cong)師(shi)(shi)(shi)修凈業,注生西方。既至,聯(lian)吟古詩一首。紹(shao)袁(yuan)(yuan)問(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen):“小(xiao)(xiao)鸞(luan)(luan)在(zai)緱山(shan),有詩作(zuo)(zuo)否(fou)(fou)。”答(da)(da)(da)(da)曰(yue):“世法無(wu)(wu)常,念(nian)(nian)念(nian)(nian)滅盡,如石火水(shui)沫,我寧為其動搖(yao)哉(zai)。倘到處(chu)留跡,不(bu)已勞乎?”將別,復(fu)告(gao)父曰(yue):“父還(huan)要眼(yan)明(ming)手快,倩種(zhong)愁(chou)苗,乃八獄之(zhi)本,一刀割(ge)絕(jue),立地清(qing)涼(liang)。”遂(sui)去(qu)。紹(shao)袁(yuan)(yuan)敘其事(shi),名(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)曰(yue)《窈聞(wen)》(出《午夢堂集》)。

門掩瑤琴靜,窗(chuang)消畫卷(juan)閑。半庭香(xiang)霧(wu)繞闌干。一帶淡煙紅樹(shu)、隔樓(lou)看。
云散(san)青(qing)天瘦,風(feng)來翠袖(xiu)寒。嫦娥眉又小檀彎。照得滿階(jie)花影、只(zhi)難攀。
【虞美人·看花(hua)】
闌干曲護閑庭小(xiao),猶恐春寒悄(qiao)。隔墻影繞(rao)一(yi)枝紅(hong),卻是杏花消瘦(shou)、舊東(dong)風(feng)。
海棠睡去(qu)梨花褪(tun),欲語渾(hun)難問。只知婀娜共爭妍,不道有人為伊、惜流年。
【虞美人(ren)·殘燈】
深深一(yi)點紅(hong)光小(xiao),薄縷(lv)微煙(yan)裊。錦屏斜背漢宮中,曾(ceng)照阿嬌金屋、淚痕濃。
朦朧穗落輕煙散,顧影渾無伴。愴然午夜漫凝思,恰似去(qu)年秋夜、雨窗時。
【汾湖石記】
汾湖(hu)石者,蓋得之(zhi)于汾湖(hu)也。其時(shi)水落而岸高,流涸而崖出。有(you)人(ren)曰:湖(hu)之(zhi)湄有(you)石焉,累累然而多,遂命舟致之(zhi)。
其(qi)(qi)大小圓缺,袤尺不(bu)(bu)一(yi)(yi)。其(qi)(qi)色則(ze)蒼然,其(qi)(qi)狀則(ze)崟然,皆可愛也(ye)。詢其(qi)(qi)居(ju)旁之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)人,亦(yi)(yi)(yi)不(bu)(bu)知誰之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)所遺矣。豈其(qi)(qi)昔(xi)為(wei)繁華之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)所,以(yi)年(nian)代邈遠,故湮沒而(er)無(wu)聞(wen)耶?抑開辟(pi)以(yi)來(lai),石固生(sheng)于(yu)(yu)茲水者(zhe)耶?若其(qi)(qi)生(sheng)于(yu)(yu)茲水,今(jin)不(bu)(bu)過遇而(er)出(chu)(chu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)也(ye);若其(qi)(qi)昔(xi)為(wei)繁華之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)所湮沒而(er)無(wu)聞(wen)者(zhe),則(ze)可悲甚矣。想其(qi)(qi)人之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)植此石也(ye),必有花木(mu)隱(yin)映,池臺依倚,歌童與(yu)舞女流連,游客偕騷人嘯詠。林壑交美,煙霞有主,不(bu)(bu)亦(yi)(yi)(yi)游觀之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)樂乎?今(jin)皆不(bu)(bu)知化為(wei)何物矣。且并頹(tui)垣廢井、荒(huang)涂舊(jiu)址之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)跡,一(yi)(yi)無(wu)可存而(er)考之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),獨茲石之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)頹(tui)乎臥(wo)于(yu)(yu)湖側,不(bu)(bu)知其(qi)(qi)幾百年(nian)也(ye),而(er)今(jin)出(chu)(chu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),不(bu)(bu)亦(yi)(yi)(yi)悲哉(zai)!
雖然(ran),當(dang)夫流波(bo)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)沖激(ji)而奔(ben)排,魚蝦之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)游泳而窟穴,秋風吹(chui)蘆花之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)瑟瑟,寒宵唳征雁(yan)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)嘹(liao)嘹(liao),槍(qiang)煙白露,蒹葭無際,釣艇漁(yu)帆(fan),吹(chui)橫笛(di)而出沒;萍鈿荇帶,雜黛螺而縈覆,則(ze)此石(shi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)存于(yu)(yu)天地之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)間(jian)也(ye)(ye),其殆與湖之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)水冷落(luo)(luo)于(yu)(yu)無窮已耶?今(jin)(jin)乃一旦羅之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)于(yu)(yu)庭(ting),復使壘之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)而為山(shan),蔭之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)以茂樹(shu),披之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)以蒼苔,雜紅英之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)璀璨,紛素(su)蕊之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)芬芳,細(xi)草春碧,明月秋朗,翠微繚繞于(yu)(yu)其巔,飛(fei)花點(dian)綴于(yu)(yu)其巖(yan)。乃至(zhi)楹檻之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)間(jian),登高臺(tai)而送歸(gui)云(yun);窗(chuang)軒(xuan)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)際,照遐景而生清風。回思昔之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)嘯詠(yong),流連游觀(guan)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)樂(le)者(zhe),不(bu)(bu)又復見(jian)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)于(yu)(yu)今(jin)(jin)乎(hu)?則(ze)是石(shi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)沈于(yu)(yu)水者(zhe)可(ke)悲,今(jin)(jin)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)遇而出之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)者(zhe),又可(ke)喜也(ye)(ye)。若使水不(bu)(bu)落(luo)(luo),潮不(bu)(bu)涸,則(ze)至(zhi)今(jin)(jin)猶(you)埋于(yu)(yu)層波(bo)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)間(jian)耳。石(shi)固亦有時也(ye)(ye)哉!

汾湖:在(zai)江蘇省吳江縣東南(nan)。湄:指湖的(de)(de)岸(an)邊,水與(yu)草交接的(de)(de)地方(fang)。袤尺(chi):指長短尺(chi)寸。崟(yín)然:石頭高聳的(de)(de)樣(yang)子。嘹(liao)嘹(liao):形(xing)容雁鳴的(de)(de)聲音,響(xiang)亮而悠長。
