江(jiang)蘇省(sheng)懷(huai)(huai)(huai)仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)中(zhong)學,址在無錫(xi)(xi)市錫(xi)(xi)山(shan)區(qu)東(dong)港鎮(zhen)東(dong)港路88號。原名(ming)無錫(xi)(xi)私立懷(huai)(huai)(huai)仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)中(zhong)學,始建于(yu)1938年的(de)抗日(ri)烽(feng)火(huo)之中(zhong),歷史悠久、底蘊深厚,是無錫(xi)(xi)鄉區(qu)較早的(de)完全(quan)中(zhong)學,是錫(xi)(xi)、澄(cheng)、虞地區(qu)的(de)文(wen)化教(jiao)育中(zhong)心,是我國著名(ming)火(huo)箭專家和“兩彈一星”功勛(xun)獎章獲得(de)者姚桐斌的(de)母校。1943年,清(qing)(qing)朝(chao)農工商(shang)部尚(shang)書(shu)(shu)、無錫(xi)(xi)國學專修館館長(chang)唐文(wen)治先生(sheng)為學校題“博(bo)愛(ai)”校訓,并加按語:“錫(xi)(xi)邑北鄉懷(huai)(huai)(huai)仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)中(zhong)學,創辦有年。癸未(wei)孟夏(xia),校長(chang)陳伯瑜介嚴生(sheng)古津來征(zheng)題。余維君(jun)子體仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),足以(yi)長(chang)人,校名(ming)懷(huai)(huai)(huai)仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),任重道遠,韓子云博(bo)愛(ai)之謂仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),諸君(jun)其謹守之哉(zai)。”又(you)請(qing)武進(jin)(jin)清(qing)(qing)癸卯年進(jin)(jin)士、著名(ming)書(shu)(shu)法家錢(qian)振锽(huang)書(shu)(shu)寫校訓匾額“博(bo)愛(ai)”和校牌“無錫(xi)(xi)私立懷(huai)(huai)(huai)仁(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)中(zhong)學”。
學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校實現了(le)超常(chang)規跨越式發展(zhan),從一所落后的(de)農村中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)華麗轉(zhuan)身,成為(wei)順應(ying)農村城市(shi)化發展(zhan)潮流的(de)現代(dai)化中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)。2000年學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校晉升為(wei)江蘇省(sheng)重點中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue),2002年跨入國家(jia)級示范(fan)性(xing)高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)行列,2004年轉(zhuan)評(ping)為(wei)江蘇省(sheng)首批四星(xing)級高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)。2009年8月,原懷仁中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)部和(he)八士中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)部合并為(wei)懷仁中(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue),搬入異地(di)(di)新建的(de)校區。學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校現占地(di)(di)196 畝,建筑面積60677平方米,綠化覆蓋率近40%,環境優(you)美(mei),布局和(he)諧,文化氛圍濃厚。截止于2013年,學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校辦學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)規模為(wei)15軌45班,有教職工260多(duo)人(ren),區級以(yi)上(shang)骨干教師60多(duo)人(ren),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生2000多(duo)人(ren)。
