民國(guo)(guo)(guo)二(er)十七年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)共(gong)地下(xia)黨員潘振(zhen)武在(zai)講習所校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)址(zhi)(zhi)創辦(ban)宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)(ping)(ping)私立戰(zhan)(zhan)時中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue),民國(guo)(guo)(guo)二(er)十八年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),縣(xian)政府創辦(ban)宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)(ping)(ping)縣(xian)立戰(zhan)(zhan)時初中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)初習學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao),同(tong)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)兩校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)合并(bing)為(wei)宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)(ping)(ping)縣(xian)立戰(zhan)(zhan)時初級(ji)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)。民國(guo)(guo)(guo)二(er)十九年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),戰(zhan)(zhan)時初級(ji)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)在(zai)日寇入(ru)侵的戰(zhan)(zhan)亂中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)遷址(zhi)(zhi)城北臺山寺和靜(jing)妙寺,民國(guo)(guo)(guo)三(san)十年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),本(ben)址(zhi)(zhi)又創辦(ban)宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)(ping)(ping)簡易師(shi)范,潘振(zhen)武主持校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)務。民國(guo)(guo)(guo)三(san)十一年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),日軍(jun)掃蕩浙(zhe)江腹地,省(sheng)部分機關(guan)學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)南(nan)遷宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)(ping)(ping),僅(jin)學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)就有杭(hang)州清華中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)、紹興稽(ji)山中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)、金華師(shi)范等,為(wei)安置全(quan)省(sheng)各(ge)地淪陷(xian)區逃亡學(xue)生(sheng)(sheng),省(sheng)教育廳在(zai)宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)(ping)(ping)創辦(ban)浙(zhe)東第(di)二(er)臨(lin)時中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue),同(tong)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)9月本(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)并(bing)入(ru)浙(zhe)東第(di)二(er)臨(lin)時中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)辦(ban)學(xue),戰(zhan)(zhan)亂中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)(ping)(ping)教育一時興盛。1949年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)5月,宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)(ping)(ping)解放,1946年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)創辦(ban)的宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)(ping)(ping)私立普育初級(ji)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)并(bing)入(ru)本(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。1958年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)2月宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)(ping)(ping)撤(che)縣(xian),本(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)改稱(cheng)武義(yi)(yi)(yi)第(di)二(er)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue),同(tong)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)首次招收(shou)高中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)新生(sheng)(sheng),本(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)成為(wei)完全(quan)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)。1961年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),武義(yi)(yi)(yi)從(cong)永康分出恢復縣(xian)制,本(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)定名為(wei)“浙(zhe)江省(sheng)武義(yi)(yi)(yi)縣(xian)第(di)二(er)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)。”
本校(xiao)所在的柳(liu)城畬(yu)(yu)族(zu)鎮,從明朝景泰(tai)三年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1452)至1958年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)為(wei)宣(xuan)平(ping)縣(xian)縣(xian)治所在地(di)(di),校(xiao)址身處(chu)革命(ming)老區、少數民族(zu)地(di)(di)區和(he)(he)貧困山(shan)區,師(shi)生(sheng)“苦教(jiao)(jiao)”、“苦學(xue)(xue)”之風長期名(ming)聲在外。學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)首(shou)批學(xue)(xue)生(sheng)就培養出潘漠(mo)華、吳謙等“五(wu)·四”新文(wen)化運(yun)動(dong)先驅和(he)(he)革命(ming)烈士,在整(zheng)個(ge)民國(guo)和(he)(he)抗戰(zhan)時期,本校(xiao)貫徹“教(jiao)(jiao)育救(jiu)國(guo)”方(fang)針(zhen),一直是愛國(guo)青年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)、進步人士和(he)(he)地(di)(di)下黨(dang)員活動(dong)成長的搖籃,毫(hao)無(wu)疑問,武義二中為(wei)原(yuan)宣(xuan)平(ping)縣(xian)的文(wen)明進步和(he)(he)解放事業(ye)做出了突(tu)出貢獻。1958年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)至今,本校(xiao)生(sheng)源除原(yuan)宣(xuan)平(ping)縣(xian)柳(liu)城、上(shang)坦、桃溪3區各鄉鎮9萬多(duo)畬(yu)(yu)漢子(zi)女外,還覆蓋武義、麗水、遂昌(chang)、松(song)陽、永康、溫(wen)州等地(di)(di),1961年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),二中首(shou)批高中畢業(ye)生(sheng)參加高考(kao),成績名(ming)列浙(zhe)江全省第9名(ming)。1977年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)恢復高考(kao)后也一度輝煌,特別是人文(wen)教(jiao)(jiao)育曾(ceng)享譽全縣(xian)和(he)(he)周(zhou)邊縣(xian)市,辦學(xue)(xue)90年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)來已培養出2萬多(duo)名(ming)合格(ge)和(he)(he)優秀畢業(ye)生(sheng),其(qi)中恢復高考(kao)后輸送的畢業(ye)生(sheng)成為(wei)副教(jiao)(jiao)授(shou)以(yi)上(shang)的科學(xue)(xue)家、學(xue)(xue)者(zhe)就有(you)100多(duo)人。社會廣泛稱
