“生(sheng)如夏花”出自印度(du)詩人泰戈爾《飛鳥集》第82首(shou)。英(ying)文原文是:"Let life be beautiful like summer flowers And Death like autumn leaves." 鄭振鐸譯為“使生(sheng)如夏花之絢爛，死(si)如秋葉之靜美”。
