《左傳·昭(zhao)公四年》記(ji)載,魯昭(zhao)公四年(前538年)六月,楚(chu)(chu)靈王(wang)在(zai)(zai)申舉(ju)行諸(zhu)(zhu)侯(hou)大會(hui)(hui),會(hui)(hui)前,楚(chu)(chu)國大臣椒(jiao)舉(ju)聽說會(hui)(hui)盟(meng)(meng)(meng)的(de)(de)禮制(zhi)不全(quan),就(jiu)向(xiang)楚(chu)(chu)靈王(wang)進言說:“現在(zai)(zai)君王(wang)剛剛獲(huo)得(de)諸(zhu)(zhu)侯(hou)的(de)(de)信(xin)服(fu),在(zai)(zai)禮法上(shang)一(yi)定要謹慎行事(shi)。楚(chu)(chu)國霸(ba)業能否成功,都在(zai)(zai)這次(ci)(ci)會(hui)(hui)盟(meng)(meng)(meng)上(shang)了(le)(le)。”然(ran)后(hou),椒(jiao)舉(ju)列舉(ju)了(le)(le)歷(li)史上(shang)的(de)(de)幾次(ci)(ci)著名的(de)(de)諸(zhu)(zhu)侯(hou)大會(hui)(hui):“夏啟(qi)有(you)(you)(you)鈞臺之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)享,商(shang)湯有(you)(you)(you)景(jing)亳之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)命(ming),周武有(you)(you)(you)孟(meng)津(jin)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)誓,成有(you)(you)(you)岐陽(yang)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)蒐,康(kang)有(you)(you)(you)酆宮(gong)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)朝(chao),穆有(you)(you)(you)涂山之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)會(hui)(hui),齊(qi)(qi)桓(huan)有(you)(you)(you)召陵之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)師,晉文有(you)(you)(you)踐土之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)盟(meng)(meng)(meng)。”然(ran)后(hou)問楚(chu)(chu)靈王(wang):“你準備模仿(fang)哪(na)一(yi)次(ci)(ci)會(hui)(hui)盟(meng)(meng)(meng)的(de)(de)禮制(zhi)?”楚(chu)(chu)靈王(wang)說:“我用齊(qi)(qi)桓(huan)公召陵會(hui)(hui)盟(meng)(meng)(meng)的(de)(de)禮制(zhi)。”
關(guan)于景(jing)(jing)亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo),歷史(shi)上說(shuo)法(fa)不一,杜(du)預《左傳注》認為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei):“河(he)南鞏縣西(xi)(xi)南有(you)(you)(you)湯(tang)(tang)亭(ting),或言(yan)(yan)亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)即偃(yan)師(shi)”,晉(jin)代(dai)的皇(huang)甫謐(mi)不同(tong)意此說(shuo),在《帝(di)(di)王(wang)世紀(ji)》里(li)(li)辨析說(shuo):“湯(tang)(tang)始(shi)居亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo),學者咸以亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)本帝(di)(di)嚳之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)墟(xu),在《禹貢》豫州洛河(he)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)間(jian),今河(he)南偃(yan)師(shi)西(xi)(xi)二(er)(er)十里(li)(li)尸鄉(xiang)(xiang)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)陽亭(ting)是(shi)(shi)也(ye)(ye)。以經考之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)事實,甚(shen)失其(qi)(qi)正。《孟子》稱(cheng)‘湯(tang)(tang)居亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo),與葛(ge)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)鄰(lin)。’案《地(di)理志》:‘葛(ge),今梁(liang)國寧陵之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)葛(ge)鄉(xiang)(xiang)’是(shi)(shi)也(ye)(ye)。湯(tang)(tang)地(di)七(qi)十里(li)(li),葛(ge)又(you)伯耳,封域(yu)有(you)(you)(you)制;葛(ge)伯不祀,湯(tang)(tang)使(shi)亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)眾為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)耕(geng),有(you)(you)(you)童(tong)子餉食(shi),葛(ge)伯奪而(er)殺之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。計寧陵至(zhi)偃(yan)師(shi)八百里(li)(li),而(er)使(shi)亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)眾為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)耕(geng),有(you)(you)(you)童(tong)子餉食(shi),非其(qi)(qi)理也(ye)(ye)。今梁(liang)自有(you)(you)(you)二(er)(er)亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo),南亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)在谷熟,北亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)在蒙,非偃(yan)師(shi)也(ye)(ye)。故(gu)古文《仲虺之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)誥》曰:‘乃葛(ge)伯仇餉,初征自葛(ge)。’即《孟子》之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)言(yan)(yan)是(shi)(shi)也(ye)(ye)。湯(tang)(tang)又(you)盟諸侯于景(jing)(jing)亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo),然則二(er)(er)亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)皆在梁(liang)矣(yi),《春秋(qiu)》‘會于亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)’是(shi)(shi)也(ye)(ye)。”皇(huang)甫謐(mi)認為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)“谷熟為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)南亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo),即湯(tang)(tang)都(dou)也(ye)(ye)”。后來(lai)王(wang)國維在《說(shuo)亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)》一文中經過詳(xiang)細考證,認為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)景(jing)(jing)亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)就(jiu)是(shi)(shi)北亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo),因為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)此地(di)有(you)(you)(you)景(jing)(jing)山,故(gu)稱(cheng)“景(jing)(jing)亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)”;又(you)因為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)此地(di)古稱(cheng)“蒙”,故(gu)又(you)稱(cheng)“蒙亳(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)(bo)”。
