玉虛(xu)十(shi)二仙之中典(dian)型(xing)的外向型(xing),每次會戰都是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)早早就(jiu)到(dao),兩次周軍集體(ti)中毒(du)他(ta)(ta)(ta)都來幫了(le)忙而(er)且最(zui)難得的是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)他(ta)(ta)(ta)每次都比玉鼎真(zhen)人來得早,他(ta)(ta)(ta)可(ke)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)愛(ai)出頭愛(ai)說話的人。十(shi)絕(jue)陣(zhen)被(bei)破,聞(wen)太師(shi)(shi)一發怒他(ta)(ta)(ta)就(jiu)跨鶴而(er)至立阻(zu)聞(wen)太師(shi)(shi)給一番勸告,只是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)他(ta)(ta)(ta)的道行好像是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)差了(le)點,被(bei)人捉(zhuo)住吊(diao)了(le)一回,被(bei)馬遂金箍箍過一回,最(zui)離譜(pu)的是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)他(ta)(ta)(ta)被(bei)呂岳追(zhui)著跑還(huan)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)哪吒(zha)幫他(ta)(ta)(ta)解了(le)圍(wei),在師(shi)(shi)侄面前丟(diu)人這(zhe)臉可(ke)丟(diu)大了(le),他(ta)(ta)(ta)在封神(shen)演(yan)義(yi)里面沒有(you)徒弟,估計以他(ta)(ta)(ta)這(zhe)本事也沒法收徒,黃龍道兄(xiong)還(huan)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)回洞府繼續苦(ku)苦(ku)修煉的好!
號稱是四無道人,無法力、無弟子、還毫無頭腦,從無勝績(ji),每戰必敗。

小說《三(san)戲白(bai)牡(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)》中,黃(huang)龍、呂洞(dong)(dong)賓(bin)(bin)均好女(nv)色(se),均善采(cai)補之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)術(shu)。白(bai)牡(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)聽(ting)了呂洞(dong)(dong)賓(bin)(bin)的調(diao)戲之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)言(yan),馬(ma)上想到:“這(zhe)道士不(bu)(bu)(bu)是(shi)凡人(ren),我(wo)何不(bu)(bu)(bu)趁(chen)此(ci)盜竊他(ta)(ta)的元陽(yang)(yang)。”二戲白(bai)牡(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan),她與(yu)呂洞(dong)(dong)賓(bin)(bin)“自夜(ye)達明,兩(liang)相采(cai)戰”,三(san)夜(ye)不(bu)(bu)(bu)能使呂洞(dong)(dong)賓(bin)(bin)走(zou)泄,于是(shi)視(shi)呂洞(dong)(dong)賓(bin)(bin)為(wei)(wei)異人(ren),“當盡己(ji)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)所長以(yi)導之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),不(bu)(bu)(bu)怕他(ta)(ta)不(bu)(bu)(bu)降服”。“何仙(xian)姑暗點牡(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)”:“實是(shi)奪生奇方(fang),汝得之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)可以(yi)駐顏(yan)益(yi)壽,以(yi)后清心(xin)寡欲,不(bu)(bu)(bu)可貪戀紅塵(chen)。功行完(wan)滿,便(bian)可返(fan)本歸仙(xian)。”面(mian)對父(fu)親(qin)(qin)“玷污門風,有(you)違師教”的責(ze)難,白(bai)牡(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)振(zhen)振(zhen)有(you)辭:“遇見了呂純(chun)陽(yang)(yang),果是(shi)真(zhen)(zhen)仙(xian),與(yu)凡夫不(bu)(bu)(bu)同(tong)。臨走(zou)時賜我(wo)金(jin)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)吞(tun)服,以(yi)此(ci)謝絕飲(yin)食,苦(ku)志修行。以(yi)待功行完(wan)滿,他(ta)(ta)便(bian)前來度我(wo)脫離(li)凡塵(chen)。”黃(huang)龍真(zhen)(zhen)人(ren)“神通道業(ye)可算(suan)第一(yi),屢受(shou)上帝敕封,也赴過蟠桃(tao)大會”,他(ta)(ta)與(yu)四海龍王是(shi)拜把子兄弟,“法力不(bu)(bu)(bu)小,曾經(jing)玉帝封為(wei)(wei)真(zhen)(zhen)人(ren)”,出身也算(suan)顯赫。白(bai)牡(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)在(zai)父(fu)親(qin)(qin)嚴命之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)下不(bu)(bu)(bu)得不(bu)(bu)(bu)拜黃(huang)龍為(wei)(wei)師,又因(yin)不(bu)(bu)(bu)愿委身于“專(zhuan)一(yi)采(cai)陰(yin)(yin)補陽(yang)(yang)”的黃(huang)龍真(zhen)(zhen)人(ren)而(er)縱身投入呂洞(dong)(dong)賓(bin)(bin)的懷抱(bao)。面(mian)對同(tong)樣是(shi)采(cai)陰(yin)(yin)補陽(yang)(yang)的黃(huang)龍真(zhen)(zhen)人(ren),呂洞(dong)(dong)賓(bin)(bin)的所作所為(wei)(wei)卻有(you)點“只(zhi)許(xu)州官放火,不(bu)(bu)(bu)許(xu)百姓點燈”的味道。他(ta)(ta)一(yi)面(mian)指斥黃(huang)龍真(zhen)(zhen)人(ren)“采(cai)陰(yin)(yin)補陽(yang)(yang),修行非正”,并讓山雞(ji)幻化(hua)為(wei)(wei)白(bai)牡(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)戲弄(nong)黃(huang)龍,另(ling)一(yi)方(fang)面(mian)卻與(yu)白(bai)牡(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)采(cai)戰宴(yan)水閣(ge);一(yi)方(fang)面(mian)因(yin)戲牡(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)而(er)失元陽(yang)(yang),另(ling)一(yi)方(fang)面(mian)卻用(yong)飛劍將興師問罪的黃(huang)龍斬了。
戲(xi)(xi)(xi)曲藝人把道教的陰(yin)陽采(cai)補(bu)當(dang)成了縱(zong)欲享(xiang)樂的旗幟。例如(ru),江(jiang)蘇錫劇傳統劇目(mu)《三戲(xi)(xi)(xi)白(bai)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)》敘蟠桃會(hui)(hui)(hui)上(shang)嫦(chang)娥(e)(e)為(wei)(wei)(wei)八仙(xian)斟酒,呂(lv)純陽酒酣(han)失(shi)態。王(wang)(wang)母遷怒(nu)于嫦(chang)娥(e)(e),謫(zhe)往(wang)人間。嫦(chang)娥(e)(e)降生(sheng)于河南洛陽開藥鋪的白(bai)富貴(gui)家,取名牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)。黃(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)龍(long)真(zhen)(zhen)人,實(shi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)千年孽龍(long),借修行(xing)為(wei)(wei)(wei)名,以(yi)房中(zhong)(zhong)術(shu)(shu)摧(cui)殘少女(nv),以(yi)求登仙(xian)。白(bai)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)也被(bei)收做弟子,隨(sui)眾女(nv)進山(shan)采(cai)藥。呂(lv)洞(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)賓誓度牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)重(zhong)返仙(xian)境。他與柳樹精到白(bai)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)藥店(dian)中(zhong)(zhong)買藥,以(yi)謎(mi)語戲(xi)(xi)(xi)之。白(bai)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)應對(dui)如(ru)流(liu),心已愛戀,后與之私通。何仙(xian)姑(gu)為(wei)(wei)(wei)助其早日登仙(xian),授牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)素女(nv)術(shu)(shu)。黃(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)龍(long)真(zhen)(zhen)人欲對(dui)白(bai)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)傳道,呂(lv)洞(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)賓至(zhi)(zhi)黃(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)龍(long)洞(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)中(zhong)(zhong),以(yi)山(shan)雞化作(zuo)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)替身,將牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)攝至(zhi)(zhi)龍(long)華(hua)山(shan)中(zhong)(zhong),告以(yi)往(wang)事(shi)(shi)。黃(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)龍(long)真(zhen)(zhen)人聞知后大(da)怒(nu),邀了四(si)海龍(long)王(wang)(wang)欲將牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)搶走。雙方斗(dou)法時(shi),呂(lv)純陽斬斷藤橋,以(yi)阻來敵。后黃(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)龍(long)真(zhen)(zhen)人現正身與呂(lv)相斗(dou),被(bei)呂(lv)斬之。牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)重(zhong)上(shang)天(tian)庭,復(fu)為(wei)(wei)(wei)嫦(chang)娥(e)(e) 。又如(ru)《戲(xi)(xi)(xi)考大(da)全(quan)》本《戲(xi)(xi)(xi)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)》謂花牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)在天(tian)香洞(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)師從黃(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)龍(long)學藝,事(shi)(shi)事(shi)(shi)具備,“但只是(shi)無(wu)純陽,不(bu)能升天(tian)”。黃(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)龍(long)赴龍(long)華(hua)大(da)會(hui)(hui)(hui)時(shi)曾向牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)預言“這日內定(ding)得純陽”,特意警示弟子會(hui)(hui)(hui)呂(lv)洞(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)賓;而呂(lv)純陽會(hui)(hui)(hui)見花牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)時(shi)曾自夸:“我就是(shi)采(cai)花一散仙(xian),今日若能夠(gou)成婚配,好似那仙(xian)女(nv)會(hui)(hui)(hui)巫山(shan)。”為(wei)(wei)(wei)了早得真(zhen)(zhen)陽升天(tian),牡(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)(dan)(dan)縱(zong)身投入呂(lv)洞(dong)(dong)(dong)(dong)賓的懷抱(bao)。從“生(sheng)比(bi)同睡式介(jie)”、“旦系裙介(jie)”等舞(wu)臺提示可(ke)知,演員甚(shen)至(zhi)(zhi)在舞(wu)臺上(shang)表(biao)演巫山(shan)云雨動作(zuo)。
四川有個(ge)黃龍(long)(long)(long)寺,那里(li)供奉的(de)神仙(xian)就是黃龍(long)(long)(long)真(zhen)(zhen)人。充(chong)滿神奇色(se)彩的(de)黃龍(long)(long)(long)洞(dong)(dong)更為引人入(ru)勝,傳說(shuo)此洞(dong)(dong)是黃龍(long)(long)(long)化(hua)身黃龍(long)(long)(long)真(zhen)(zhen)人修煉成道之所。黃龍(long)(long)(long)寺記載是這樣記載他的(de)出身的(de):
“在(zai)古時洪(hong)水(shui)潮天,大(da)地(di)為一(yi)片江(jiang)洋。大(da)禹王為治水(shui)沿(yan)岷江(jiang)向上,察視(shi)江(jiang)源(yuan)(yuan),來在(zai)汶川(chuan)縣(xian)的(de)(de)漩口、映秀之間的(de)(de)江(jiang)岸,早有九條神龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long),合計投奔大(da)禹王;求其封位,助禹治水(shui)。這九龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)見(jian)禹王察視(shi)江(jiang)源(yuan)(yuan),正是好機會,就(jiu)約同去(qu)(qu)拜(bai)見(jian)他(ta)。在(zai)相遇的(de)(de)地(di)方,九龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)臥(wo)地(di)叩頭朝(chao)拜(bai)。大(da)禹王突然見(jian)九根大(da)蟲在(zai)前(qian)進(jin)道上攔阻(zu),一(yi)時驚恐(kong),喊(han)出(chu)聲“蛇(she)!蛇(she)!蛇(she)!"為首一(yi)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)被(bei)謫稱為蟲類(lei),一(yi)氣便(bian)臥(wo)地(di)而(er)死,調頭各奔而(er)去(qu)(qu),黃龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)當時就(jiu)在(zai)臥(wo)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)身(shen)后,它受驚回跑,一(yi)直沿(yan)岷江(jiang)跑到源(yuan)(yuan)頭,騰飛在(zai)雪寶鼎之上空,畜意發(fa)起怒火,對大(da)禹進(jin)行報復(fu)。
大(da)禹(yu)王(wang)見九龍死逃而去,繼(ji)續察視江(jiang)源,不一(yi)日來到了(le)茂州地方(fang),江(jiang)面突然卷(juan)起黑浪惡風,欲(yu)將大(da)禹(yu)所(suo)乘(cheng)木(mu)舟掀(xian)翻,正在這千鈞一(yi)發之際(ji),突然從(cong)江(jiang)面飛來金(jin)光四射的黃(huang)(huang)龍,與黑風惡浪展開一(yi)場殊死搏斗,黃(huang)(huang)龍終(zhong)于獲(huo)勝,背負著大(da)禹(yu)所(suo)乘(cheng)木(mu)舟,溯江(jiang)而上,助禹(yu)王(wang)察得了(le)岷江(jiang)之源。
原(yuan)來是(shi)黃龍(long)(long)(long)正要報(bao)復大(da)禹(yu)(yu)(yu),忽見茂州地方江中(zhong)黑風妖意害(hai)禹(yu)(yu)(yu)王,黃龍(long)(long)(long)想到大(da)禹(yu)(yu)(yu)訝龍(long)(long)(long)為(wei)蛇謫封了他(ta)們龍(long)(long)(long)族,但(dan)他(ta)為(wei)民(min)治水不(bu)辭艱辛,認為(wei)功大(da)于過,于是(shi)他(ta)變報(bao)仇為(wei)報(bao)恩,從而戰退黑風妖,助禹(yu)(yu)(yu)治水。
后來,大禹治水(shui)成功,向(xiang)天地(di)禱(dao)告,贊黃(huang)龍(long)助(zhu)他治水(shui)有功,求封為天龍(long)。黃(huang)龍(long)謝封,不(bu)愿升天,他留戀這(zhe)岷(min)山(shan)源頭(tou),躲藏進原始(shi)森林中去了。后來人們修廟(miao)紀念,故得名黃(huang)龍(long)寺。這(zhe)里人們至今(jin)歌(ge)頌他不(bu)記私仇,顧大局,為民造(zao)福的美德。”
