南城區(qu)中(zhong)心小(xiao)(xiao)學(xue)(xue),創辦于1997年(nian)9月(yue)(yue),位(wei)于東(dong)(dong)(dong)莞新城市(shi)中(zhong)心區(qu),原(yuan)名東(dong)(dong)(dong)莞陽光小(xiao)(xiao)學(xue)(xue),2000年(nian)12月(yue)(yue)被(bei)評為(wei)市(shi)一級學(xue)(xue)校,2002年(nian)9月(yue)(yue)學(xue)(xue)校從(cong)莞城區(qu)歸屬到(dao)南城區(qu)管(guan)理,2003年(nian)被(bei)市(shi)教(jiao)育(yu)局批準(zhun)更(geng)名為(wei)“東(dong)(dong)(dong)莞市(shi)南城區(qu)中(zhong)心小(xiao)(xiao)學(xue)(xue)”,同時可掛“東(dong)(dong)(dong)莞市(shi)南城區(qu)陽光小(xiao)(xiao)學(xue)(xue)”的(de)牌子。2004年(nian)12月(yue)(yue)被(bei)評為(wei)廣東(dong)(dong)(dong)省一級學(xue)(xue)校,至今已有(you)19年(nian)辦學(xue)(xue)歷程。
學(xue)校(xiao)地處東莞新城市(shi)中心區,是(shi)一所現代化新型學(xue)校(xiao)。占地30765平(ping)方米,建筑面積達23431平(ping)方米,校(xiao)園綠草如茵(yin)、環境優美,文化濃郁,校(xiao)舍(she)新穎美觀,布局合理。各種功能室和教育教學(xue)設施(shi)均按省一級學(xue)校(xiao)標準(zhun)配齊,基本(ben)實現了教學(xue)設施(shi)標準(zhun)化、辦公電腦(nao)化和信(xin)息網(wang)絡化。
學(xue)校(xiao)現有45個教(jiao)學(xue)班,學(xue)生2345人,專(zhuan)任(ren)教(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi)131人,專(zhuan)任(ren)教(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi)大專(zhuan)以(yi)(yi)上(shang)學(xue)歷(li)教(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi)比例達(da)100%;其(qi)中(zhong)年齡在40歲以(yi)(yi)下(xia)的有79人,占教(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi)總人數的66%。教(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi)年輕化,學(xue)歷(li)層(ceng)次高,是該校(xiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi)資結構的一大特色。
學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)本(ben)著"以人為(wei)本(ben),以德為(wei)首,以質立校(xiao)(xiao)"的(de)辦學(xue)理(li)(li)念,實施"科(ke)研育名師,名師創名校(xiao)(xiao)"的(de)發展(zhan)(zhan)戰(zhan)略,實行目標管理(li)(li),開(kai)創了“高(gao)質低(di)負、全(quan)面育人”的(de)教(jiao)風,著力(li)培養學(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)“勤學(xue)巧練,獨立自主”的(de)學(xue)風,形(xing)成了“文明(ming)守紀、善教(jiao)善學(xue)”的(de)校(xiao)(xiao)風,學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)堅持“辦規(gui)范加(jia)特色(se)學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao),培勝任加(jia)特點教(jiao)師,育合格(ge)加(jia)特長學(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)”的(de)辦學(xue)宗(zong)旨。致力(li)于“讓全(quan)體學(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)得到發展(zhan)(zhan),讓學(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)得到全(quan)面發展(zhan)(zhan)”,大力(li)推進素質教(jiao)育,注重發展(zhan)(zhan)學(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)個性,培養學(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)特長,相繼開(kai)設了三十(shi)多個興趣班(ban),廣泛開(kai)展(zhan)(zhan)第二課堂(tang)活動(dong),形(xing)成了以“體育、藝術、科(ke)普(pu)和(he)環境教(jiao)育”強項(xiang)的(de)鮮明(ming)辦學(xue)特色(se)。
