北京市(shi)第(di)七中學(xue)(xue)(xue)位于西城區(qu)德(de)勝門外安德(de)路(lu)(lu),是(shi)一所有(you)(you)(you)著悠久歷史和(he)優良傳(chuan)統辦學(xue)(xue)(xue)質量較高(gao)的(de)普通完(wan)全中學(xue)(xue)(xue)。其前(qian)身是(shi)始建于一九(jiu)三一年秋的(de)北平(ping)市(shi)私(si)立(li)鏡湖中學(xue)(xue)(xue)。一九(jiu)四(si)一年改為(wei)北京市(shi)公立(li)第(di)七中學(xue)(xue)(xue)。解放后,改稱為(wei)現校名。幾經變遷(qian),于一九(jiu)五四(si)年秋遷(qian)到安德(de)路(lu)(lu)69號。學(xue)(xue)(xue)校把(ba)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)愛就(jiu)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育,沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)興趣(qu)就(jiu)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育,沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)嚴(yan)格就(jiu)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育,沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)贊揚就(jiu)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育作(zuo)為(wei)辦學(xue)(xue)(xue)、實施教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)的(de)指(zhi)導(dao)思想(xiang)。近年來學(xue)(xue)(xue)校始終把(ba)基礎管理(li)、科學(xue)(xue)(xue)規范、創(chuang)造和(he)諧校園(yuan)、和(he)諧師(shi)生(sheng)關系放在(zai)首位,把(ba)傳(chuan)統教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)與現代(dai)信息(xi)技術有(you)(you)(you)機結合,堅(jian)持創(chuang)新,堅(jian)持嚴(yan)、細、實的(de)原則,使學(xue)(xue)(xue)校面貌煥(huan)然一新,呈現出一派(pai)勃(bo)勃(bo)生(sheng)機。

學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)是北京市衛生(sheng)紅旗單位、文明(ming)校(xiao)(xiao)園、西城區(qu)(qu)科技示范校(xiao)(xiao)、北京教育(yu)學(xue)院實驗基地、北京市足(zu)球(qiu)傳統(tong)項目重點(dian)校(xiao)(xiao)、區(qu)(qu)綜(zong)合管理優類校(xiao)(xiao)和區(qu)(qu)教學(xue)管理達(da)標校(xiao)(xiao)。
