榕(rong)(rong)(rong)石永福(fu)寺(si)(si),位(wei)(wei)于惠城北郊半公(gong)里處榕(rong)(rong)(rong)山,毗鄰惠來縣革命烈士紀念碑、榕(rong)(rong)(rong)石百果園。古(gu)稱(cheng)“榕(rong)(rong)(rong)石庵,”創建(jian)于明萬歷八年(nian)(1580)。崇(chong)禎(zhen)十(shi)七(qi)年(nian)(1644)和清康(kang)熙九年(nian)、乾隆五(wu)十(shi)五(wu)年(nian)、光緒二(er)十(shi)二(er)年(nian)(1896)修建(jian),1989年(nian)至1999年(nian)重(zhong)建(jian)一(yi)新,規模(mo)宏大,并改稱(cheng)“榕(rong)(rong)(rong)石永福(fu)寺(si)(si)”。1987年(nian)被(bei)列為縣重(zhong)點文物(wu)保(bao)護(hu)單(dan)位(wei)(wei),1988年(nian)登記(ji)開放為佛(fo)教活動(dong)場所,是惠來名勝之一(yi)。 周圍樹木茂盛,環(huan)境幽靜,是一(yi)處歷史悠久的文化(hua)古(gu)跡。現有大雄(xiong)寶(bao)殿、東(dong)西閣、功德祠、祖師廟等,規模(mo)宏偉,遠勝舊寺(si)(si),數(shu)十(shi)身(shen)貼金(jin)佛(fo)像,神態儼(yan)然;綠(lv)瓦朱扉,金(jin)碧輝(hui)煌。2009年(nian)12月16日,永福(fu)寺(si)(si)重(zhong)修擴建(jian)奠基慶典隆重(zhong)舉行,重(zhong)修擴建(jian)工(gong)程正式(shi)啟動(dong)。
榕(rong)(rong)石(shi)勝跡,位于惠來(lai)(lai)(lai)縣(xian)(xian)(xian)惠城鎮北面入口處榕(rong)(rong)山(shan)(shan)上(shang)。毗(pi)鄰惠來(lai)(lai)(lai)縣(xian)(xian)(xian)革命(ming)烈士紀念碑、榕(rong)(rong)石(shi)百果園等(deng)。周圍(wei)樹木(mu)茂盛,環境幽靜(jing),是(shi)一(yi)處歷(li)史(shi)悠(you)久(jiu)的文化古(gu)跡。 惠來(lai)(lai)(lai)縣(xian)(xian)(xian)城北郊的榕(rong)(rong)山(shan)(shan),古(gu)時山(shan)(shan)上(shang)廣植榕(rong)(rong)樹,故稱榕(rong)(rong)山(shan)(shan)。榕(rong)(rong)山(shan)(shan)原有榕(rong)(rong)石(shi)庵。古(gu)庵周圍(wei)榕(rong)(rong)樹抱石(shi)而(er)生,榕(rong)(rong)則虬(qiu)枝勁干,石(shi)則苔痕(hen)斑駁(bo),木(mu)石(shi)結(jie)緣(yuan),草木(mu)茂盛,綠(lv)樹成蔭,蔚(yu)為(wei)奇觀。據《惠來(lai)(lai)(lai)縣(xian)(xian)(xian)志》載:“榕(rong)(rong)石(shi)山(shan)(shan),在(zai)縣(xian)(xian)(xian)城北郊外一(yi)里(li)許,古(gu)榕(rong)(rong)一(yi)株,高跨石(shi)上(shang),中祀(si)九子母,邑人(ren)(ren)在(zai)此祈(qi)嗣(si)”。 僧人(ren)(ren)向筆者(zhe)介紹:相傳明(ming)代年間,巨石(shi)后面有一(yi)小祠,緊靠巨石(shi),奉祀(si)九子母神(shen),巨石(shi)縫中夾長著一(yi)株古(gu)榕(rong)(rong)樹。
后來(lai),邑人于(yu)其旁建(jian)庵(an),取(qu)名(ming)曰:“榕石庵(an)”。據史料記載:榕石庵(an)創(chuang)建(jian)于(yu)明萬(wan)歷八(ba)年(1580),崇禎(zhen)十七(qi)年(1644)惠來(lai)知縣沈(shen)惟煌倡建(jian)。清康熙十七(qi)年惠邑知縣張秉政《九日榕石登(deng)高》詩云:“欲覽民(min)風(feng)藉(jie)勝游,喜逢佳節到林丘。不知巨(ju)石何年起(qi),久伴白云此地留(liu)。便可登(deng)高瞻蔀屋(wu),何妨泛菊醉朋儔。榮(rong)枯卉(hui)木尋(xun)常事(shi),莫向(xiang)登(deng)臨感(gan)暮秋”。
庵(an)內(nei)有(you)石(shi)碑6塊,記(ji)載著(zhu)該庵(an)創建(jian)與歷年(nian)維修的(de)經過。大(da)(da)革命時期,彭湃同志曾(ceng)扎營于此,配(pei)合赤衛隊指揮戰斗。榕石(shi)庵(an)三百(bai)多年(nian)間幾度興(xing)廢,歷經滄桑。解放后已是廟宇頹(tui)敗,破舊不堪,榕石(shi)庵(an)正(zheng)南(nan)面數(shu)百(bai)米(mi)處有(you)一(yi)(yi)(yi)古寺(si)(si)(si),稱“永福寺(si)(si)(si)”。改(gai)革開放以后,宗教(jiao)政(zheng)策得到落實(shi)。由縣(xian)城市(shi)政(zheng)建(jian)設規劃的(de)需要(yao),永福寺(si)(si)(si)遷并(bing)于榕石(shi)庵(an)處,重建(jian)新(xin)寺(si)(si)(si)稱“榕石(shi)永福禪寺(si)(si)(si)”。于1989年(nian)破土改(gai)建(jian),歷經十(shi)(shi)年(nian),一(yi)(yi)(yi)座坐北向(xiang)南(nan),總(zong)建(jian)筑(zhu)面積逾千平方(fang)米(mi)之(zhi)梵宇聳(song)立,新(xin)建(jian)成(cheng)大(da)(da)雄寶殿、天王(wang)殿、觀音閣、地藏閣、大(da)(da)顛(dian)祖師殿、宋禪祖師殿,辟建(jian)碑廊,及配(pei)套設施,規模宏偉。如今,永福禪寺(si)(si)(si)香火旺盛,寺(si)(si)(si)內(nei)現有(you)數(shu)十(shi)(shi)身貼金佛像,神態儼然;綠瓦朱扉,金碧輝煌,成(cheng)為一(yi)(yi)(yi)處旅游(you)勝地,吸引著(zhu)無數(shu)海內(nei)外游(you)人前來觀光。
榕石(shi)(shi)勝地幽(you)美(mei),周(zhou)圍群山(shan)朝(chao)拱,樹木繁茂。巨石(shi)(shi)抱古(gu)榕,古(gu)榕盤巨石(shi)(shi),奇觀(guan)秀美(mei)。石(shi)(shi)上刻有(you)清(qing)光(guang)緒十四年(nian)(nian)(1888)邑人(ren)陳宗翰題書“榕石(shi)(shi)”二字并(bing)勒于石(shi)(shi)上,筆力(li)蒼(cang)勁,大氣(qi)渾厚(hou)。還(huan)刻有(you)清(qing)光(guang)緒三(san)年(nian)(nian)(1877)冬(dong)朱清(qing)華等游(you)覽榕石(shi)(shi)時所(suo)作并(bing)刻的七律詩一(yi)首:“抱石(shi)(shi)蒼(cang)榕奪化功,擎(qing)天傍立梵王宮。千層翠蓋(gai)迷(mi)冬(dong)日,萬隙(xi)祥光(guang)透碧(bi)空。木石(shi)(shi)猶能相契合,竹梅互(hu)許素心同。今(jin)朝(chao)有(you)幸酬三(san)約(yue),勝跡常懷在五中(zhong)”。1983年(nian)(nian)10月榕石(shi)(shi)被批(pi)準(zhun)列為惠(hui)來縣文物保(bao)護(hu)單位。
