廣寧(ning)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)創建于1930年8月。學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)占地面積84324平(ping)方(fang)米,校(xiao)(xiao)舍(she)建筑面積39561平(ping)方(fang)米,現有教(jiao)學(xue)(xue)大樓(lou)(lou)、科(ke)學(xue)(xue)樓(lou)(lou)、辦公樓(lou)(lou)、學(xue)(xue)生宿舍(she)大樓(lou)(lou)、教(jiao)師宿舍(she)樓(lou)(lou)共12幢;有地理園(yuan)和生物園(yuan)各(ge)1個(ge)(ge);有400、200米跑道運動(dong)場(chang)各(ge)1個(ge)(ge)、水泥籃球(qiu)場(chang)3個(ge)(ge)、羽毛球(qiu)場(chang)2個(ge)(ge)、室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)內體育運動(dong)場(chang)1個(ge)(ge)。科(ke)學(xue)(xue)樓(lou)(lou)內現有各(ge)學(xue)(xue)科(ke)實驗室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、語音實驗室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、多媒體電(dian)教(jiao)室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、電(dian)子閱覽(lan)室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、軟件(jian)制作(zuo)室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、視控(kong)中(zhong)心、多媒體電(dian)腦室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、勞技室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、校(xiao)(xiao)史展覽(lan)室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、美術室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、音樂室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、閱覽(lan)室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、藏書(shu)室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)共30間,有藏書(shu)96880冊,并建立了校(xiao)(xiao)園(yuan)信息網(wang)絡,建成了廣寧(ning)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)網(wang)站,配(pei)置了7個(ge)(ge)電(dian)教(jiao)平(ping)臺。
馮肇光(1899一1951 ),別名隱(yin)韜,今東鄉(xiang)鎮(zhen)黃(huang)坪(ping)里仁村(cun)人。
民國3年(1914)畢業于縣城文治學(xue)堂。秋,考(kao)入(ru)省立(li)第(di)四中(zhong)學(xue)(今肇慶中(zhong)學(xue))就讀。
畢業(ye)后,于民國(guo)7年(nian)遠渡重洋留(liu)學(xue)法國(guo)巴黎政治大(da)學(xue)經濟系,獲碩(shuo)士學(xue)位(wei)。
民國17年(nian)回(hui)國,先(xian)后任廣州(zhou)(zhou)中山大(da)學法科講師、國立廣東法學院教授兼(jian)黃埔軍校政(zheng)治教官、廣州(zhou)(zhou)市參議等職(zhi)。
民國19年(nian)春,任(ren)省教育(yu)廳秘書、第四科科長。秋,為了(le)發展家鄉(xiang)教育(yu)事業,造福桑(sang)樣(yang),毅然回到(dao)廣(guang)寧(ning)。 在籌建廣(guang)寧(ning)初(chu)級中學(xue)時,說(shuo)服(fu)鄉(xiang)村父老,把(ba)潭布(bu)嚴桐的祖嘗(chang)田產(年(nian)收租(zu)谷2000石)賣掉(diao),將款捐獻給(gei)寧(ning)中建校。
學(xue)校建成后,出(chu)任(ren)廣寧中學(xue)校長。任(ren)職(zhi)期間,處處以身作則,與教(jiao)師(shi)同甘(gan)共(gong)苦,對學(xue)生嚴格要求,循循善誘,深得師(shi)生們的愛戴。
抗日戰爭爆發(fa),他經(jing)常(chang)組織學(xue)生利用課余時間,深入(ru)圩鎮、鄉村,宣(xuan)傳抗日救國的(de)道(dao)理,培養(yang)出不(bu)少(shao)的(de)進步同學(xue)。
民國30年調廣雅中學(廣州(zhou)淪陷后遷(qian)信宜)任校長。
民(min)國(guo)34年任省教育廳督(du)學。次(ci)年任省銳(rui)志(zhi)中學校長。
民國36年(nian),競選(xuan)國大(da)代(dai)表(biao)失敗。
民國(guo)37年1—8月,任廣寧縣縣長(chang)。
次年(nian)任西江(jiang)中學校長。
廣寧中學(xue)(xue)(xue)堅(jian)持(chi)“一切(qie)為(wei)了師生(sheng)的(de)發(fa)(fa)展”的(de)辦(ban)學(xue)(xue)(xue)理(li)念,遵(zun)從“正德(de)(de)明(ming)理(li),求真至善(shan)”的(de)校(xiao)訓(xun),遵(zun)從“正德(de)(de)明(ming)理(li),求真至善(shan)”的(de)校(xiao)訓(xun),實施“依(yi)法(fa)治校(xiao)、以質立校(xiao)、創新強校(xiao)、發(fa)(fa)展興校(xiao)”的(de)治校(xiao)方略,發(fa)(fa)揚“團結進取、務(wu)實創新、敬(jing)(jing)業(ye)奉獻”的(de)寧中精神,以堅(jian)持(chi)社會(hui)主(zhu)義辦(ban)學(xue)(xue)(xue)方向(xiang),全面(mian)推行素質教(jiao)(jiao)育(yu),培養高(gao)素質的(de)現代人(ren)作為(wei)辦(ban)學(xue)(xue)(xue)思想。按照“堅(jian)持(chi)德(de)(de)育(yu),加強校(xiao)風建(jian)設;強化教(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)管理(li),提高(gao)教(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)質量(liang);多方籌措資金,改善(shan)辦(ban)學(xue)(xue)(xue)條(tiao)件”的(de)治校(xiao)思路,全面(mian)推進學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)各項工(gong)作。該校(xiao)已(yi)形成了文明(ming)、勤(qin)奮、務(wu)實、創新的(de)校(xiao)風,敬(jing)(jing)業(ye)、善(shan)導、嚴謹、求精的(de)教(jiao)(jiao)風和尊師、守紀、勤(qin)奮、進取的(de)學(xue)(xue)(xue)風,成為(wei)本縣(xian)一所省一級學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)。
辦學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)八十(shi)年(nian)來,廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)寧中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)的發(fa)(fa)展日新(xin)月異,教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)質量穩步提高,歷年(nian)高考(kao)均取得可喜的成(cheng)(cheng)績(ji)。2001年(nian)被省(sheng)(sheng)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)廳評(ping)(ping)為(wei)“廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)東(dong)省(sheng)(sheng)一級學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”。1997年(nian)被縣(xian)總(zong)工會(hui)評(ping)(ping)為(wei)“職業道德建(jian)設(she)十(shi)佳先(xian)(xian)進(jin)(jin)集體(ti)(ti)”,1998年(nian)被省(sheng)(sheng)體(ti)(ti)委(wei)評(ping)(ping)為(wei)“群(qun)(qun)眾體(ti)(ti)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)先(xian)(xian)進(jin)(jin)單(dan)(dan)(dan)位(wei)(wei)(wei)”,被市體(ti)(ti)委(wei)評(ping)(ping)為(wei)“貫徹執行(xing)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)體(ti)(ti)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)衛生工作(zuo)兩個《條例》先(xian)(xian)進(jin)(jin)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”,1999年(nian)被肇慶市委(wei)市政(zheng)(zheng)府(fu)(fu)(fu)評(ping)(ping)為(wei)“依法治校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)先(xian)(xian)進(jin)(jin)單(dan)(dan)(dan)位(wei)(wei)(wei)”;被縣(xian)委(wei)縣(xian)政(zheng)(zheng)府(fu)(fu)(fu)評(ping)(ping)為(wei)“文(wen)(wen)明(ming)單(dan)(dan)(dan)位(wei)(wei)(wei)”;2000年(nian)被肇慶市委(wei)市政(zheng)(zheng)府(fu)(fu)(fu)評(ping)(ping)為(wei)“文(wen)(wen)明(ming)單(dan)(dan)(dan)位(wei)(wei)(wei)”和(he)“創建(jian)美麗校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)園活動先(xian)(xian)進(jin)(jin)單(dan)(dan)(dan)位(wei)(wei)(wei)”。同時(shi)被評(ping)(ping)為(wei)縣(xian)“十(shi)佳職業道德單(dan)(dan)(dan)位(wei)(wei)(wei)”和(he)“文(wen)(wen)明(ming)窗口學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”、“花(hua)園式(shi)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”。學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)黨(dang)總(zong)支部(bu)、團(tuan)委(wei)、工會(hui)、婦委(wei)獲市縣(xian)多(duo)次(ci)獎(jiang)勵;從1993年(nian)開(kai)始,年(nian)年(nian)獲市“高考(kao)成(cheng)(cheng)績(ji)優秀獎(jiang)”。1998年(nian)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)節前夕,在縣(xian)人(ren)民政(zheng)(zheng)府(fu)(fu)(fu)召(zhao)開(kai)的教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)座談會(hui)上(shang),原縣(xian)委(wei)書記彭錦泉同志向(xiang)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)局領導(dao)提議,號召(zhao)全縣(xian)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)小(xiao)(xiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)向(xiang)廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)寧中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)習。之后,廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)寧縣(xian)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)局作(zuo)出《關于開(kai)展向(xiang)廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)寧中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)習活動的決定》。在這(zhe)《決定》中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),特(te)別(bie)指出:“近幾年(nian)來,廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)寧中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)全面(mian)貫徹黨(dang)的教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)方(fang)針,堅持社會(hui)主義(yi)辦學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)方(fang)向(xiang),積極推行(xing)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)改革,重視領導(dao)班子建(jian)設(she),抓好師(shi)德教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu),嚴格學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)管理,優化(hua)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)人(ren)環境(jing),實(shi)施素質教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)各項工作(zuo)都取得了輝煌的成(cheng)(cheng)績(ji)”。2002年(nian)被廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)東(dong)省(sheng)(sheng)考(kao)試中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)心定為(wei)“廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)東(dong)省(sheng)(sheng)全國教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)統(tong)一考(kao)試定點(dian)(dian)考(kao)場”。2003年(nian)成(cheng)(cheng)為(wei)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)會(hui)“十(shi)五”課(ke)題《優質教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)研(yan)究(jiu)》實(shi)驗基地(di)和(he)“廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)東(dong)省(sheng)(sheng)現(xian)代教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)技術(shu)實(shi)驗學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”。2006年(nian)成(cheng)(cheng)為(wei)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)部(bu)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)央電教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)館“十(shi)一五”重點(dian)(dian)研(yan)究(jiu)課(ke)題《利用現(xian)代信息技術(shu)加強學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)、家庭和(he)社區(qu)協同教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)研(yan)究(jiu)》實(shi)驗學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)和(he)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國基礎教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)網絡實(shi)驗學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。2009年(nian)被廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)東(dong)省(sheng)(sheng)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)(yu)(yu)廳評(ping)(ping)為(wei)廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)東(dong)省(sheng)(sheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)小(xiao)(xiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)本(ben)培訓示范學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)、《師(shi)資建(jian)設(she)》教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)發(fa)(fa)展學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。此(ci)外,廣(gu 廣寧中學創建(jian)于1930年,初時校名為廣寧縣立中學。
1956年(nian)學(xue)校更(geng)(geng)名為廣(guang)寧第一中學(xue);1958年(nian)廣(guang)寧、四會合縣,學(xue)校更(geng)(geng)名為廣(guang)四縣南(nan)街中學(xue)。
1960年學校改(gai)名為廣寧(ning)縣廣寧(ning)中學。
1969年學(xue)校改名為五七中學(xue)。
1977年(nian)初(chu)校名恢(hui)復為廣寧(ning)中(zhong)學(xue),并(bing)確定為縣重點中(zhong)學(xue)。
1999年被定為(wei)市(shi)重點中(zhong)學。
2001年(nian)7月寧城中(zhong)學(xue)撤(che)(che)并至(zhi)廣寧中(zhong)學(xue),成為學(xue)校(xiao)初中(zhong)部,2007年(nian)2月初中(zhong)部分(fen)離(li);2003年(nian)廣寧縣(xian)實驗中(zhong)學(xue)撤(che)(che)并至(zhi)廣寧中(zhong)學(xue),成為學(xue)校(xiao)東(dong)校(xiao)區,2007年(nian)7月東(dong)校(xiao)區分(fen)離(li)。
