富順文(wen)廟坐北朝南(nan),背靠(kao)神龜山,面(mian)(mian)向(xiang)沱江,不(bu)僅符合(he)古代風(feng)水(shui)學(xue)的原則,還(huan)具有皇(huang)宮(gong)氣派。跟全(quan)國絕大多數(shu)文(wen)廟建在平地(di)上不(bu)同,富順文(wen)廟從(cong)敬一亭到數(shu)仞宮(gong)墻,依次沿山坡修下去,面(mian)(mian)闊46米(mi),縱深160余米(mi),占(zhan)地(di)10余畝。
富順(shun)文(wen)廟中保存年代(dai)早的建筑物要數敬一亭中那座孔(kong)子陰刻像石碑。據《富順(shun)縣志》記載(zai),該像系唐代(dai)畫(hua)家吳道子所繪,南宋紹興十五年(公元1145年)翻刻而(er)成。
富順文(wen)廟(miao)的(de)(de)格局跟全國絕大(da)多數(shu)文(wen)廟(miao)一(yi)樣,仿山東曲(qu)阜孔廟(miao)的(de)(de)樣板(ban)而(er)建,即通過(guo)“數(shu)仞宮墻”左右(you)的(de)(de)“禮門(men)”、“義(yi)路”或兩旁的(de)(de)“圣域(yu)”、“賢關”進入(ru)(ru)。首先映(ying)入(ru)(ru)眼簾的(de)(de)是(shi)“泮池”,跨過(guo)橫臥泮池上的(de)(de)“狀元(yuan)橋(qiao)”,是(shi)一(yi)座石坊建筑(zhu)“欞星(xing)門(men)”,經過(guo)欞星(xing)門(men)進入(ru)(ru)建筑(zhu)群的(de)(de)第(di)一(yi)個(ge)(ge)院(yuan)(yuan)落(luo),正(zheng)(zheng)面(mian)是(shi)“大(da)成門(men)”;從大(da)成門(men)再往里走,便是(shi)建筑(zhu)群的(de)(de)第(di)二個(ge)(ge)院(yuan)(yuan)落(luo),正(zheng)(zheng)面(mian)是(shi)整個(ge)(ge)建筑(zhu)群的(de)(de)主殿“大(da)成殿”,大(da)成殿前有(you)一(yi)個(ge)(ge)舉(ju)辦祭孔活動(dong)的(de)(de)月臺;繞過(guo)大(da)成殿,進入(ru)(ru)第(di)三(san)個(ge)(ge)院(yuan)(yuan)落(luo),正(zheng)(zheng)面(mian)是(shi)“崇圣祠”,再往里走就是(shi)后一(yi)座建筑(zhu)“敬一(yi)亭”了。
整個(ge)建筑(zhu)群(qun)都凝聚著博大(da)精(jing)深的(de)(de)儒(ru)家學說(shuo),如泮池、狀(zhuang)(zhuang)元(yuan)橋(qiao)(qiao)以及欞(ling)星(xing)(xing)門。泮池就是(shi)學校的(de)(de)意(yi)思(si),意(yi)味(wei)著進入孔(kong)(kong)子(zi)之門也就進入了(le)讀書求官之門,如果(guo)有幸蟾宮折桂,就可(ke)以從(cong)狀(zhuang)(zhuang)元(yuan)橋(qiao)(qiao)上(shang)通過(guo)。欞(ling)星(xing)(xing)為天(tian)上(shang)文(wen)星(xing)(xing),意(yi)思(si)是(shi)孔(kong)(kong)子(zi)是(shi)天(tian)上(shang)文(wen)星(xing)(xing)下(xia)凡,經過(guo)欞(ling)星(xing)(xing)門方才(cai)算(suan)正式進入了(le)孔(kong)(kong)子(zi)門下(xia)。富順文(wen)廟(miao)(miao)的(de)(de)狀(zhuang)(zhuang)元(yuan)橋(qiao)(qiao)為九(jiu)龍鏤(lou)空(kong)石(shi)拱(gong)橋(qiao)(qiao),這跟許多(duo)文(wen)廟(miao)(miao)的(de)(de)狀(zhuang)(zhuang)元(yuan)橋(qiao)(qiao)為平板橋(qiao)(qiao)相比,更具特(te)色;欞(ling)星(xing)(xing)門由(you)12根(gen)沖天(tian)石(shi)柱(zhu)聯排構成,高的(de)(de)石(shi)柱(zhu)達12.8米,超(chao)過(guo)曲阜孔(kong)(kong)廟(miao)(miao)欞(ling)星(xing)(xing)門10.34米的(de)(de)高度。大(da)成殿門前的(de)(de)九(jiu)龍丹陛,為三層鏤(lou)空(kong)九(jiu)龍石(shi)雕,可(ke)為富順文(wen)廟(miao)(miao)石(shi)刻代表。
富(fu)順(shun)文(wen)廟自(zi)北周(zhou)武帝天和二年(nian)(nian)建縣(xian)至北宋初年(nian)(nian)(567-960)的近400年(nian)(nian)間,由于地(di)處(chu)邊陲,僚漢雜(za)居(ju),鹽業雖盛而文(wen)風未開(kai)。宋仁(ren)宗景祐三年(nian)(nian)(1036),朝廷選(xuan)派太常(chang)博(bo)士(shi)名(ming)學者(zhe)(zhe)周(zhou)延(yan)俊來(lai)富(fu)順(shun)任知(zhi)監(jian),努力興教(jiao)化,辦(ban)學校,培育(yu)士(shi)子。在(zai)他(ta)任職的第(di)六年(nian)(nian),即(ji)(ji)慶歷(li)二年(nian)(nian)(1042),富(fu)順(shun)縣(xian)終于出了第(di)一(yi)個進士(shi)-李冕(mian),全縣(xian)士(shi)民無不歡欣慶幸。在(zai)周(zhou)延(yan)俊的倡(chang)導下(xia),人們(men)集資于慶歷(li)四年(nian)(nian)(1044),在(zai)縣(xian)城中心(xin)的南門,建成(cheng)一(yi)座文(wen)廟,主(zhu)供(gong)孔子,時稱"文(wen)宣網(wang)廟"。并在(zai)廟內立(li)石質"雁塔碑",以刻全縣(xian)歷(li)次中試者(zhe)(zhe)的名(ming)字。此后,歷(li)任富(fu)順(shun)知(zhi)監(jian),均熱心(xin)教(jiao)育(yu)事業,親任儒學教(jiao)授,常(chang)在(zai)從政之(zhi)余,來(lai)廟內為生(sheng)員講課,于是文(wen)風大開(kai)。宋代在(zai)雁塔刻名(ming)的進士(shi)即(ji)(ji)有67人之(zhi)多(duo)。
元代文廟改稱(cheng)"先圣廟"。至(zhi)大四(si)年(1311),富順知(zhi)州任顯忠,建立戟門,安置禮(li)器,補修(xiu)大成殿(dian),為(wei)兩廡里柵欄。英宗時期(qi),縣佐王納速建御書碑亭(ting)。
明(ming)(ming)太(tai)祖(zu)朱元(yuan)璋平定(ding)江(jiang)(jiang)山,詔天下立學(xue)育士,改先圣廟(miao)為"先師廟(miao)"。明(ming)(ming)朝洪武六年(nian)(1373)年(nian),知縣(xian)鐘鉉重整廟(miao)壇,興建學(xue)校,砌石泮池。以后又經8次修補和小增建。明(ming)(ming)成祖(zu)永樂年(nian)間始稱"文廟(miao)"。此后,文風(feng)日盛(sheng),教(jiao)育事業發(fa)達,入(ru)學(xue)中(zhong)舉者逐年(nian)增多。有(you)明(ming)(ming)一代,赴京會(hui)試,中(zhong)進士者達139人(ren),占四川省進士總數(shu)的十三分之一,因(yin)而(er)獲得"才子甲西蜀",富順才子內(nei)江(jiang)(jiang)官"的美譽(yu)。
明末清初,蜀(shu)中(zhong)大(da)亂(luan)25年(nian),文(wen)廟失修,殘破不(bu)堪。康(kang)熙二十(shi)一(yi)年(nian)(1682)年(nian),平定(ding)三(san)藩后的第一(yi)任富(fu)順(shun)知縣錢紹隆(long),重(zhong)新整修文(wen)廟,修大(da)成殿明倫堂(tang),恢復祭(ji)祀和學(xue)校。乾(qian)隆(long)二十(shi)九年(nian)(1764),知縣熊葵向集資修建文(wen)廟外(wai)墻,重(zhong)建兩廡,并砌(qi)日(ri)月(yue)壇。至道光中(zhong)期,文(wen)廟雖(sui)經多次修葺,終屬小(xiao)修小(xiao)補,其破敗之狀(zhuang)與以出才(cai)子名聞全川的富(fu)順(shun)縣頗(po)不(bu)相稱。清代(dai)立朝到道光中(zhong)期,富(fu)順(shun)僅出了11名進士,民間認為文(wen)章風水移動(dong)是因對孔圣不(bu)敬(jing)之故。
道(dao)光十(shi)六年(nian)(nian)(1836),富順(shun)知縣(xian)鄧仁坤決定(ding)重(zhong)建(jian)(jian)文(wen)(wen)(wen)廟(miao)(miao),并與當(dang)時富順(shun)縣(xian)第一大(da)財主(zhu)、貢生(sheng)肖(xiao)永(yong)升商議。肖(xiao)永(yong)升當(dang)即表示:為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)了保(bao)住(zhu)富順(shun)“文(wen)(wen)(wen)章風水”,愿盡儒生(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)責,獨肩重(zhong)建(jian)(jian)文(wen)(wen)(wen)廟(miao)(miao)之(zhi)(zhi)任(ren)。于是(shi)雇工請匠(jiang),立即拆除文(wen)(wen)(wen)廟(miao)(miao),特派專人前(qian)往(wang)(wang)山東曲阜縣(xian),通過任(ren)澤區令(ling)的富順(shun)進(jin)士張震,取回建(jian)(jian)筑文(wen)(wen)(wen)廟(miao)(miao)的規制圖(tu)紙。又從雷波、馬邊運回巨(ju)木(mu),從江西景德鎮定(ding)制琉璃瓦,共(gong)費資(zi)三萬六千,歷時四(si)年(nian)(nian),于道(dao)光二(er)十(shi)年(nian)(nian)(1840)建(jian)(jian)成(cheng)。自崇(chong)圣(sheng)祠(ci)、大(da)成(cheng)殿(dian)(dian)、月臺、兩廡、戟(ji)門(men)(men)(men)(men)、更(geng)衣祭(ji)器(qi)所、下(xia)(xia)至欞(ling)星門(men)(men)(men)(men)、名宦(huan)(huan)鄉賢(xian)祠(ci)、禮門(men)(men)(men)(men)、義(yi)路、泮池(chi)(chi)、橋欄、宮(gong)墻(qiang)、外賢(xian)關、圣(sheng)域(yu)門(men)(men)(men)(men)皆(jie)高廣堅致,逾舊(jiu)數倍。共(gong)占地10余(yu)畝,建(jian)(jian)筑占地3000多平方米。廟(miao)(miao)正面為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)一帶(dai)紅墻(qiang),上(shang)(shang)塑“數仞宮(gong)墻(qiang)”4個大(da)字。左右(you)(you)有(you)2門(men)(men)(men)(men),曰(yue)“圣(sheng)域(yu)”、“賢(xian)關”,非祭(ji)祀不開。進(jin)門(men)(men)(men)(men)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)泮池(chi)(chi),池(chi)(chi)上(shang)(shang)架橋三座;中為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)九龍橋,不通行,左右(you)(you)便橋,為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)祭(ji)祀過道(dao)。池(chi)(chi)左右(you)(you)有(you)2門(men)(men)(men)(men),曰(yue)“禮門(men)(men)(men)(men)”、“義(yi)路”,為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)平日出(chu)入之(zhi)(zhi)門(men)(men)(men)(men),分別立有(you)“文(wen)(wen)(wen)官(guan)下(xia)(xia)轎”、“武(wu)官(guan)下(xia)(xia)馬”石(shi)(shi)碑。池(chi)(chi)后為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)石(shi)(shi)坊“欞(ling)星門(men)(men)(men)(men)”,有(you)3孔(kong)通入,坊寬22.4米,高12.65米。再拾(shi)級為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)“明倫(lun)堂”-即戟(ji)門(men)(men)(men)(men),左右(you)(you)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)“更(geng)衣祭(ji)器(qi)所”,戟(ji)門(men)(men)(men)(men)后有(you)廣場,場后有(you)“日月壇”,中為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)九龍鏤空(kong)(kong)浮雕,左右(you)(you)有(you)石(shi)(shi)梯登(deng)臺。臺后為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)文(wen)(wen)(wen)廟(miao)(miao)主(zhu)體(ti)建(jian)(jian)筑“大(da)成(cheng)殿(dian)(dian)”,殿(dian)(dian)高35米,為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)明清時期典型斗(dou)拱結構,畫(hua)棟(dong)飛檐,精巧華美,脊(ji)龍昂首,躍(yue)然欲飛,琉璃金碧,映日生(sheng)輝,壯麗(li)凝重(zhong),古色古香。殿(dian)(dian)后有(you)一院(yuan)落為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)“泮宮(gong)”(“泮宮(gong)丹桂是(shi)富順(shun)八(ba)景之(zhi)(zhi)一)。再往(wang)(wang)后,是(shi)”崇(chong)圣(sheng)殿(dian)(dian)“,左右(you)(you)有(you)”龍池(chi)(chi)“、”風穴(xue)“,清泉常滿,大(da)旱不涸。壁間在乾(qian)隆(long)時鐫有(you)石(shi)(shi)刻”龍池(chi)(chi)“、”鳳穴(xue)“,筆力(li)遒勁,近代(dai)罕見。崇(chong)圣(sheng)殿(dian)(dian)隆(long)起的坎上(shang)(shang)建(jian)(jian)筑是(shi)孔(kong)子之(zhi)(zhi)”寢宮(gong)“。寢宮(gong)較小,只有(you)三楹中供木(mu)刻”空(kong)(kong)子神位“(宋代(dai)以前(qian)為(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)石(shi)(shi)刻),情地金書孔(kong)子像,系唐吳道(dao)子所畫(hua),從曲阜拓回。左右(you)(you)廊(lang)廡,先后曾(ceng)作生(sheng)員學舍、縣(xian)教諭署(shu)及名宦(huan)(huan)鄉賢(xian)祠(ci)。
光緒二十二年(1896),縣(xian)人張世芳(fang)將(jiang)先世所捐學(xue)田(tian)(tian)2處(chu),改捐作維(wei)修文(wen)廟(miao)之業田(tian)(tian)。光緒33年(1907),詔生孔(kong)子大(da)祀。于是改崇(chong)圣寺(si)及宮墻為黃瓦(wa)(原(yuan)只(zhi)有(you)大(da)成殿、大(da)成門準(zhun)用黃瓦(wa)。
抗日(ri)戰爭時期中,日(ri)本飛機炸毀大成(cheng)殿一角及西廊(lang)廡,后雖經修復,但技藝低(di)下(xia),終不復原。解(jie)放后,曾(ceng)于1958年(nian)前后,對文(wen)廟粉(fen)飾一。1980年(nian)7月,富順(shun)文(wen)廟列為四(si)川省文(wen)物保護單(dan)位后,省府又撥專款,予以(yi)修葺、粉(fen)飾,現在基本保持原貌,并增添服務設施(shi),長年(nian)開放,供人(ren)民游覽憑吊,2001年(nian)又被列為國家重點文(wen)物保護單(dan)位。
富(fu)順文(wen)(wen)(wen)廟(miao)有(you)(you)(you)“五絕”。一是(shi)欞星門由3組(zu)石(shi)(shi)坊組(zu)成(cheng),中間一組(zu)石(shi)(shi)柱(zhu)(zhu)高(gao)達12.65米,為各(ge)地文(wen)(wen)(wen)廟(miao)所罕(han)見(jian)。二是(shi)大(da)(da)成(cheng)殿面積532平方米,共用大(da)(da)圓(yuan)柱(zhu)(zhu)50根,殿高(gao)30米,整個梁枋、檐板都是(shi)精雕的(de)龍(long)(long)鳳麟獅、蟲魚花鳥。三是(shi)孔(kong)子石(shi)(shi)刻像(xiang)奇。此像(xiang)不著(zhu)冕(mian)旒(liu),線條(tiao)簡潔明朗,衣著(zhu)飄(piao)逸自(zi)然、形(xing)象逼真,是(shi)稀世珍品。四是(shi)龍(long)(long)的(de)世界。文(wen)(wen)(wen)廟(miao)內有(you)(you)(you)大(da)(da)大(da)(da)小小各(ge)具(ju)形(xing)態的(de)雕龍(long)(long)300多(duo)條(tiao),有(you)(you)(you)浮騰(teng)在20余米高(gao)空的(de)巨龍(long)(long),有(you)(you)(you)蜿蜒于泮池“狀元橋”上(shang)(shang)(shang)的(de)九(jiu)龍(long)(long),大(da)(da)成(cheng)殿屋脊上(shang)(shang)(shang)有(you)(you)(you)飛龍(long)(long)。五是(shi)崇圣祠上(shang)(shang)(shang)裸(luo)體(ti)男(nan)陶(tao)人(ren)之“謎(mi)(mi)”。在1986年(nian)翻修富(fu)順文(wen)(wen)(wen)廟(miao)崇圣祠屋面時,發(fa)(fa)現正脊梁三重琉(liu)璃(li)亭塔式寶鼎中有(you)(you)(you)一尊(zun)古銅色裸(luo)體(ti)男(nan)陶(tao)像(xiang),其身高(gao)25厘米,肩寬10厘米,右手(shou)向(xiang)上(shang)(shang)(shang)舉過頭頂(ding),左手(shou)自(zi)然垂下(xia),五官清晰,下(xia)身男(nan)性特(te)征(zheng)明顯(xian),制作細(xi)膩,造型生動(dong),給(gei)在封建意識濃厚的(de)北宋時代興建的(de)富(fu)順文(wen)(wen)(wen)廟(miao)披上(shang)(shang)(shang)了神秘色彩(cai)。這(zhe)個被(bei)列(lie)為“巴蜀(shu)之謎(mi)(mi)”的(de)發(fa)(fa)現,引(yin)起學術界和新聞(wen)媒體(ti)的(de)極大(da)(da)關注和震(zhen)驚(jing),新華社、中央電視臺(tai)、《四川日報(bao)》、《華西都市(shi)報(bao)》、四川電視臺(tai)和各(ge)省市(shi)電視臺(tai)、各(ge)大(da)(da)晚報(bao)以及海外媒體(ti)、互聯網等紛(fen)紛(fen)加以報(bao)道(dao)。不少專(zhuan)家(jia)學者對此十分(fen)感興趣,有(you)(you)(you)的(de)人(ren)迷惑不解(jie),有(you)(you)(you)的(de)進行(xing)探索研(yan)究,紛(fen)紛(fen)發(fa)(fa)表文(wen)(wen)(wen)章,欲解(jie)這(zhe)個謎(mi)(mi)團。
