1929年(nian),孫震將(jiang)軍創辦(ban)私立樹德學校(xiao),提出(chu)“樹德樹人”的辦(ban)學主張。二十(shi)(shi)世(shi)紀三十(shi)(shi)、四十(shi)(shi)年(nian)代,成為全國辦(ban)得最好的六所私立學校(xiao)之一(yi),時稱“北有南開(kai),西有樹德”(《大公(gong)報(bao)》記載)。
1952年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),改制(zhi)為(wei)(wei)(wei)公(gong)立(li)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao),更名(ming)為(wei)(wei)(wei)成都九中(zhong),定為(wei)(wei)(wei)四川(chuan)(chuan)省(sheng)辦好的(de)(de)省(sheng)級(ji)重點(dian)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)。1958年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)被(bei)定為(wei)(wei)(wei)四川(chuan)(chuan)省(sheng)歸(gui)國華(hua)僑子女(nv)集中(zhong)就(jiu)讀學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)、1959年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)被(bei)定為(wei)(wei)(wei)四川(chuan)(chuan)省(sheng)高(gao)級(ji)干部(bu)子女(nv)集中(zhong)就(jiu)讀學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)。1989年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),恢復樹德(de)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)名(ming)。2000年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),被(bei)評為(wei)(wei)(wei)四川(chuan)(chuan)省(sheng)國家級(ji)示范(fan)高(gao)中(zhong)。2004年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),成為(wei)(wei)(wei)引(yin)(yin)(yin)進(jin)國際高(gao)中(zhong)課程(VCE)的(de)(de)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)。2007年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)~2010年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),實(shi)(shi)施(shi)名(ming)校(xiao)(xiao)擴建(jian),形成“一校(xiao)(xiao)三區”的(de)(de)辦學(xue)(xue)(xue)格局(ju)。2009年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),組建(jian)樹德(de)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)教(jiao)育(yu)集團,引(yin)(yin)(yin)領幫(bang)扶13所成員學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao),促(cu)進(jin)教(jiao)育(yu)優質均衡。2010年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),被(bei)確定為(wei)(wei)(wei)教(jiao)育(yu)部(bu)在四川(chuan)(chuan)省(sheng)的(de)(de)探索拔尖創新(xin)人才早期(qi)培(pei)養(yang)的(de)(de)試(shi)點(dian)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)。2011年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),成為(wei)(wei)(wei)中(zhong)國西部(bu)引(yin)(yin)(yin)進(jin)IB國際課程的(de)(de)公(gong)立(li)高(gao)中(zhong)。同年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),獲北(bei)京大(da)(da)學(xue)(xue)(xue)“中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)長實(shi)(shi)名(ming)制(zhi)推薦(jian)”、清華(hua)大(da)(da)學(xue)(xue)(xue)“領軍計劃”學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)。2013年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),被(bei)評為(wei)(wei)(wei)四川(chuan)(chuan)省(sheng)首批(pi)一級(ji)示范(fan)性高(gao)中(zhong)。2014年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),成為(wei)(wei)(wei)全國首批(pi)中(zhong)國大(da)(da)學(xue)(xue)(xue)先修課程(CAP)試(shi)點(dian)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)。現為(wei)(wei)(wei)中(zhong)國教(jiao)育(yu)學(xue)(xue)(xue)會(hui)高(gao)中(zhong)專業委(wei)員會(hui)常務理事(shi)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)。
