百老匯的(de)(de)成立,源(yuan)自創(chuang)辦人– 李(li)波(bo)先生將新科(ke)技普(pu)及(ji)化的(de)(de)熱誠。于(yu)50年代,攝(she)(she)影(ying)屬當時一種(zhong)非常昂貴的(de)(de)玩(wan)意,而作為攝(she)(she)影(ying)師的(de)(de)李(li)波(bo)先生便于(yu)1949年在旺(wang)角彌(mi)敦道開(kai)設店鋪,提供售(shou)賣菲林、出租(zu)相(xiang)機及(ji)相(xiang)片沖矖(xi)服(fu)務,其后在旺(wang)角山東街創(chuang)辦了百老匯,讓大眾有機會體驗科(ke)技所(suo)帶來的(de)(de)生活趣味。
及(ji)至(zhi)70年(nian)代,攝影(ying)及(ji)影(ying)音器(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)材日漸(jian)普(pu)及(ji),百(bai)老(lao)(lao)(lao)匯(hui)(hui)的(de)(de)服(fu)務漸(jian)趨多元(yuan)化(hua),逐漸(jian)轉(zhuan)型(xing)為售(shou)賣相機、菲(fei)林及(ji)影(ying)音產品的(de)(de)專(zhuan)(zhuan)門(men)店(dian),并于1975年(nian)正式注(zhu)冊成(cheng)立「百(bai)老(lao)(lao)(lao)匯(hui)(hui)攝影(ying)器(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)材有限(xian)公司」。自此起,百(bai)老(lao)(lao)(lao)匯(hui)(hui)認為科(ke)技發展(zhan)日新(xin)月異,電(dian)(dian)(dian)子及(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)產品勢必成(cheng)為大家生(sheng)活(huo)上(shang)的(de)(de)必需(xu)品,因此便積極拓展(zhan)其業(ye)務范疇,由(you)攝影(ying)器(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)材專(zhuan)(zhuan)門(men)店(dian)發展(zhan)至(zhi)多元(yuan)化(hua)的(de)(de)數碼電(dian)(dian)(dian)子及(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)零售(shou)業(ye)務。隨(sui)著時代變(bian)遷,層(ceng)出不窮的(de)(de)電(dian)(dian)(dian)子及(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)產品不斷影(ying)響著我們(men)的(de)(de)生(sheng)活(huo)模式,顧(gu)客的(de)(de)需(xu)求亦不斷轉(zhuan)變(bian),而百(bai)老(lao)(lao)(lao)匯(hui)(hui)亦同步演變(bian),已經成(cheng)為香港的(de)(de)一站式電(dian)(dian)(dian)子及(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)零售(shou)連(lian)鎖店(dian),至(zhi)今(jin)擁(yong)有約30間門(men)市(shi),聘用1千多名(ming)員(yuan)工(gong)。百(bai)老(lao)(lao)(lao)匯(hui)(hui)時刻本著「勇敢(gan)嘗試(shi),不斷創新(xin)」的(de)(de)精神,積極引入各式嶄(zhan)新(xin)的(de)(de)數碼電(dian)(dian)(dian)子及(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)器(qi)(qi)(qi)(qi)產品,配合不斷提升的(de)(de)專(zhuan)(zhuan)業(ye)零售(shou)服(fu)務和時尚購物(wu)體驗,特設「購物(wu)保障,十天更換」及(ji)「電(dian)(dian)(dian)腦化(hua)留貨服(fu)務」,讓顧(gu)客時刻與科(ke)技潮流緊密連(lian)系,體驗科(ke)技如何提升我們(men)的(de)(de)生(sheng)活(huo)享(xiang)受,令生(sheng)活(huo)更添樂趣。
