2019年(nian)11月,《國家(jia)級非物質文化遺(yi)產代表性(xing)項目(mu)保護(hu)(hu)單位名單》公布(bu),重(zhong)慶市(shi)榮昌(chang)區(qu)文化館(guan)獲得(de)榮昌(chang)折扇(shan)項目(mu)保護(hu)(hu)單位資(zi)格。
折扇雖是(shi)日用(yong)(yong)小商品(pin),但獨具收則折疊,用(yong)(yong)則撒(sa)開,折撒(sa)自如,攜帶方便的(de)特點。榮昌(chang)折扇造(zao)型輕盈靈巧,線條(tiao)外園(yuan)內方,明快流暢;其選料考(kao)究(jiu),制(zhi)作(zuo)精細,工藝精湛,是(shi)實用(yong)(yong)與(yu)工藝相(xiang)結合的(de)日用(yong)(yong)佳(jia)品(pin)。由于品(pin)種(zhong)齊(qi)全,花色(se)繁多,高、中、低檔產(chan)品(pin)均有(you),可(ke)謂男女老(lao)少(shao)皆宜,雅俗共賞,深受(shou)各(ge)階(jie)層人士(shi)的(de)喜愛。

榮昌折(zhe)扇(shan),從(cong)農耕(geng)時代(dai)走向信息時代(dai),歷經400多年悠悠歷史。據(ju)《榮昌縣志》記(ji)載,折(zhe)扇(shan)古(gu)稱聚(ju)頭扇(shan),又名卷扇(shan)。根據(ju)歷史記(ji)載是唐(tang)朝(chao)日本遣唐(tang)使朝(chao)賀皇(huang)帝唐(tang)太宗(zong)以貢品(pin)入國,當時被(bei)稱為(wei)倭(wo)扇(shan)。宋代(dai)倭(wo)扇(shan)開始(shi)在官家和民間廣(guang)泛(fan)出現,并規(gui)模(mo)生(sheng)產。《夷堅志》上也說(shuo):宋高(gao)宗(zong)有折(zhe)疊(die)扇(shan),以玉孩(hai)兒為(wei)扇(shan)墜。”而真(zhen)正全面被(bei)百姓所喜歡和普及是明(ming)朝(chao)。
榮(rong)(rong)昌(chang)折(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)(shan)明(ming)朝(chao)(chao)(chao)嘉靖(jing)年(nian)間(jian)(jian)由朝(chao)(chao)(chao)鮮傳入工藝。當(dang)時(shi),榮(rong)(rong)昌(chang)城北響石板一帶農(nong)民利用(yong)農(nong)閑時(shi)間(jian)(jian),以榮(rong)(rong)昌(chang)當(dang)地盛產(chan)的黃竹制作(zuo)扇(shan)(shan)(shan)心扇(shan)(shan)(shan)夾,糊上(shang)黑(hei)紙,生產(chan)硬青、皮底兩類折(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)(shan),在集市(shi)上(shang)出(chu)售。至明(ming)朝(chao)(chao)(chao)萬歷年(nian)間(jian)(jian)已成(cheng)朝(chao)(chao)(chao)廷貢品(pin)(pin)。歷史有記載明(ming)朝(chao)(chao)(chao)護送貢品(pin)(pin)耽擱二被問罪。明(ming)清兩朝(chao)(chao)(chao)在榮(rong)(rong)昌(chang)設二品(pin)(pin)官負責折(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)(shan)造(zao)辦和貢品(pin)(pin)押運(在原(yuan)國營折(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)(shan)廠(chang)原(yuan)址曾有官碑記錄)至嘉慶、道(dao)光年(nian)間(jian)(jian),折(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)(shan)生產(chan)因(yin)為移民擴(kuo)充有了一個(ge)更大大發展(zhan)時(shi)期(qi),由副業(ye)生產(chan)走向(xiang)專業(ye)化生產(chan)而(er)集中于縣城。
榮(rong)昌折(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan),以棕(zong)竹、毛竹為之,被(bei)稱為懷袖(xiu)雅物。榮(rong)昌折(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)在光緒初(chu)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)開始采(cai)用楠(nan)竹扇(shan)(shan)心、扇(shan)(shan)夾和質地更(geng)為堅韌(ren),花紋自(zi)然美(mei)觀的(de)棕(zong)竹扇(shan)(shan)夾,折(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)品種(zhong)(zhong)新增全楠(nan)、正(zheng)棕(zong)、穿葉串(chuan)子三(san)大類,刁(diao)、嵌(qian)(qian)、漆、繪等(deng)(deng)也用于折(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)生產(chan)(chan)(chan)。城中扇(shan)(shan)鋪(pu)發展到(dao)四十余家(jia),加(jia)(jia)工(gong)攤子戶達(da)100余家(jia),最高年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)產(chan)(chan)(chan)量400萬(wan)把,除(chu)在省(sheng)銷(xiao)售外(wai),還遠銷(xiao)云(yun)南、貴州、陜西等(deng)(deng)省(sheng),成為榮(rong)昌頗負盛名(ming)的(de)特產(chan)(chan)(chan)之一(yi)(yi)。這是折(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)業(ye)(ye)的(de)興(xing)盛時(shi)期。到(dao)1912年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),折(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)會員登記(ji)名(ming)冊記(ji)載,先后經(jing)營此業(ye)(ye)仍保留會籍(ji)者,已達(da)202家(jia)行(xing)(xing)號,足見其源遠與(yu)興(xing)盛。辛(xin)亥革命成功后,折(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)加(jia)(jia)工(gong)工(gong)藝日臻完美(mei)。漆、刁(diao)、嵌(qian)(qian)、刻、燙花、小(xiao)磨、鐵金(jin)、銀(yin)粉寫畫等(deng)(deng)技(ji)藝廣泛應用于串(chuan)葉白扇(shan)(shan)生產(chan)(chan)(chan),深受(shou)各界(jie)人(ren)士喜愛(ai)而(er)風行(xing)(xing)一(yi)(yi)時(shi)。5年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)內,城內折(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)經(jing)營店鋪(pu)達(da)100多家(jia),加(jia)(jia)工(gong)攤子戶500多戶,專業(ye)(ye)生產(chan)(chan)(chan)工(gong)人(ren)3000人(ren),年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)產(chan)(chan)(chan)折(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)506萬(wan)把,除(chu)國(guo)內諸(zhu)省(sheng)市之外(wai),還遠銷(xiao)泰國(guo)、印度、緬甸等(deng)(deng)國(guo)家(jia),達(da)到(dao)鼎盛。據說當時(shi)榮(rong)昌折(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)的(de)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)產(chan)(chan)(chan)量超過了蘇杭折(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)的(de)總(zong)和。榮(rong)昌折(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan)能生產(chan)(chan)(chan)全楠(nan)、正(zheng)棕(zong)、硬青、皮(pi)底、全棕(zong)、羽毛、綢面吊尾舞蹈、串(chuan)子、漆嵌(qian)(qian)等(deng)(deng)11大類,345個(ge)花色,可(ke)謂琳瑯(lang)滿目(mu),繁花似(si)錦。別看一(yi)(yi)把小(xiao)小(xiao)的(de)折(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)扇(shan)(shan),工(gong)種(zhong)(zhong)就(jiu)有16個(ge),工(gong)序則有146個(ge)。
