建筑風格
帕巴寺的建筑風格(ge)獨特,系(xi)樓閣式(shi)石木塔。高四(si)(si)層。塔中有(you)(you)(you)梯可盤(pan)旋至頂。層層出檐(yan),逐(zhu)層收(shou)分,每(mei)層均設(she)有(you)(you)(you)壺門(men)、小(xiao)窗(chuang)(chuang),建有(you)(you)(you)挑檐(yan)、檁(lin)枋、子(zi)、飛頭、瓦(wa)壟等。塔之(zhi)四(si)(si)角的一(yi)(yi)、二層檐(yan)角套(tao)(tao)有(you)(you)(you)火焰形銅(tong)套(tao)(tao)飾(shi),三、四(si)(si)層上(shang)為黃銅(tong)翹檐(yan)伸出,頂部(bu)有(you)(you)(you)銅(tong)剎頂,以(yi)(yi)圓(yuan)光、仰月、寶蓋、寶珠(zhu)(zhu)連接,屋面用紅銅(tong)蓋頂。在三、四(si)(si)層的四(si)(si)周壺門(men)上(shang)繪有(you)(you)(you)小(xiao)佛(fo)像(xiang)。底層為佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian),由門(men)廊及主殿(dian)(dian)(dian)兩部(bu)分組成(cheng),其(qi)外環(huan)繞內(nei)、外回廊,供(gong)(gong)信徒轉經之(zhi)用。門(men)廊面積4柱(zhu)(zhu)(zhu),門(men)楣兩端(duan)有(you)(you)(you)圓(yuan)雕木獅子(zi)一(yi)(yi)對(dui),左右有(you)(you)(you)密室(shi)相通。佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)平(ping)面呈(cheng)正方(fang)形,進深(shen)3間面闊3間,有(you)(you)(you)柱(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)14根(方(fang)柱(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)10根,圓(yuan)柱(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)4根);殿(dian)(dian)(dian)門(men)楣上(shang)方(fang)為5尊(zun)護法(fa)(fa)獅子(zi),其(qi)間繪有(you)(you)(you)頭戴黃色(se)類帽的格(ge)魯(lu)派祖(zu)師(shi)像(xiang);殿(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)南端(duan)東(dong)(dong)(dong)側第(di)一(yi)(yi)柱(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)上(shang)有(you)(you)(you)墨(mo)書祖(zu)師(shi)像(xiang);殿(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)南端(duan)東(dong)(dong)(dong)側第(di)一(yi)(yi)柱(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)上(shang)有(you)(you)(you)墨(mo)書藏(zang)文(wen)題記的寺志(zhi),南壁的東(dong)(dong)(dong)、中、南段上(shang)方(fang)各(ge)開(kai)有(you)(you)(you)采光小(xiao)窗(chuang)(chuang)。佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)北(bei)壁原供(gong)(gong)有(you)(you)(you)主尊(zun)釋迦牟尼佛(fo)8歲身量的檀香木像(xiang),東(dong)(dong)(dong)、西(xi)壁各(ge)供(gong)(gong)佛(fo)像(xiang)4尊(zun)、東(dong)(dong)(dong)壁西(xi)側供(gong)(gong)奉第(di)十三世(shi)達賴喇(la)嘛土登嘉措泥塑像(xiang),皆高約(yue)10米(mi);西(xi)壁角上(shang)供(gong)(gong)奉蓮花(hua)生大師(shi)泥塑像(xiang),高約(yue)8~10米(mi),主供(gong)(gong)之(zhi)前(qian)置(zhi)有(you)(you)(you)金、銀(yin)質酥油(you)燈(deng)各(ge)2盞(zhan),高約(yue)30~40厘米(mi),以(yi)(yi)及黃銅(tong)制的酥油(you)桶等;殿(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)木柱(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)用錦緞(duan)圍(wei)裹(guo),懸掛有(you)(you)(you)五色(se)緞(duan)子(zi)制的莊嚴勝幡,東(dong)(dong)(dong)、西(xi)兩壁經櫥置(zhi)有(you)(you)(you)《甘珠(zhu)(zhu)爾》、《丹(dan)珠(zhu)(zhu)爾》各(ge)一(yi)(yi)部(bu)。但上(shang)述殿(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)塑供(gong)(gong)法(fa)(fa)器(qi)等在“文(wen)革”時(shi)期被(bei)毀(hui),今已不存。可貴的是(shi)寺內(nei)壁畫大部(bu)分保存尚(shang)好,是(shi)該(gai)寺具(ju)有(you)(you)(you)歷史與藝術價值的珍品。
佛殿
帕巴寺底(di)層(ceng),寺廟的(de)主(zhu)體(ti)部分(fen),由門廊及主(zhu)殿兩(liang)部分(fen)組成。
①門(men)廊。門(men)道設于南面(mian),寬4米,有兩層石踏道。門(men)楣兩端有圓雕(diao)木獅一(yi)對。門(men)廊4柱,左右各(ge)有密室一(yi)間相通。
②主(zhu)殿(dian)。位于門(men)廊北面,門(men)道(dao)朝南(nan),寬(kuan)約2米,有(you)(you)(you)(you)石踏道(dao)四層,最上兩(liang)層尚存護鐵(tie),釘有(you)(you)(you)(you)鐵(tie)釘。門(men)楣上方(fang)為5尊(zun)護法獅子,其間(jian)繪有(you)(you)(you)(you)頭戴黃色尖帽(mao)的(de)(de)格魯派祖師(shi)(shi)法像(xiang)(xiang)。佛殿(dian)平面呈正方(fang)形,進深3間(jian),面闊(kuo)3間(jian),現(xian)存立柱14根。在南(nan)端(duan)東側第一柱上有(you)(you)(you)(you)模(mo)糊不清的(de)(de)墨(mo)書藏文題記。殿(dian)堂南(nan)壁(bi)(bi)(bi)的(de)(de)東、中、南(nan)段(duan)上方(fang)各(ge)開有(you)(you)(you)(you)采光小窗。主(zhu)殿(dian)北壁(bi)(bi)(bi)原(yuan)放置(zhi)(zhi)主(zhu)尊(zun)釋(shi)迦牟尼8歲(sui)身(shen)量(liang)的(de)(de)檀香木像(xiang)(xiang),俗稱帕巴瓦第像(xiang)(xiang),帕巴寺(si)也因(yin)此而得名(ming)。東、西(xi)(xi)(xi)壁(bi)(bi)(bi)各(ge)置(zhi)(zhi)佛像(xiang)(xiang)4尊(zun),東壁(bi)(bi)(bi)西(xi)(xi)(xi)側放置(zhi)(zhi)十三世(shi)達賴的(de)(de)泥塑像(xiang)(xiang),高約10米,西(xi)(xi)(xi)壁(bi)(bi)(bi)角上原(yuan)放置(zhi)(zhi)有(you)(you)(you)(you)蓮花(hua)生大師(shi)(shi)泥塑像(xiang)(xiang),高8~10米。殿(dian)堂內懸掛有(you)(you)(you)(you)五色緞(duan)子制作(zuo)的(de)(de)莊嚴勝幡,木柱四周皆用(yong)錦緞(duan)圍裹(guo),東西(xi)(xi)(xi)兩(liang)壁(bi)(bi)(bi)經(jing)櫥內分置(zhi)(zhi)有(you)(you)(you)(you)《甘珠爾(er)》、《丹珠爾(er)》經(jing)書各(ge)1部。主(zhu)殿(dian)南(nan)側原(yuan)有(you)(you)(you)(you)僧舍9間(jian),已改作(zuo)他用(yong)。佛殿(dian)內、外(wai)有(you)(you)(you)(you)環廊環繞,以供信徒轉經(jing)之用(yong),外(wai)環廊木柱上原(yuan)安置(zhi)(zhi)有(you)(you)(you)(you)一周轉經(jing)筒,今(jin)已不存。
壁畫
寺內壁畫(hua)有早(zao)、晚(wan)期作品(pin),分布在門廊、佛殿及外環廊。
門廊壁畫
門(men)廊北壁右側為蓮花(hua)生像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),其下(xia)(xia)方(fang)繪其弟子(zi),上(shang)(shang)方(fang)分別(bie)繪制密宗雙身(shen)佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)“定(ding)覺”及(ji)白(bai)度(du)母,間飾(shi)山水、云朵(duo)圖案(an);北壁左側繪十(shi)一(yi)面八臂觀音,足(zu)踏蓮座,身(shen)披天(tian)衣,搭條帛,有(you)頭(tou)光(guang)(guang)、身(shen)光(guang)(guang),其上(shang)(shang)方(fang)左右分別(bie)繪釋迦牟尼佛(fo)(fo)坐(zuo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),下(xia)(xia)方(fang)左右繪一(yi)般說來丹(dan)拉姆(吉祥天(tian)女(nv))護法(fa)(fa)神,中央為“圣(sheng)山”岡仁波且。門(men)廊東壁為釋迦化(hua)佛(fo)(fo)小像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),皆結(jie)(jie)跏趺(fu)坐(zuo)于蓮臺(tai)上(shang)(shang),結(jie)(jie)各種(zhong)印(yin)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),皆結(jie)(jie)跏趺(fu)坐(zuo)于蓮臺(tai)上(shang)(shang),結(jie)(jie)種(zhong)種(zhong)印(yin)相(xiang),皆有(you)背光(guang)(guang)。門(men)廊南壁從(cong)東至西(xi)分別(bie)繪有(you)化(hua)佛(fo)(fo)、三世佛(fo)(fo)、羅漢、護法(fa)(fa)神、觀音、度(du)母像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)等。門(men)廊西(xi)壁繪有(you)3尊(zun)呈忿怒(nu)狀(zhuang)的護法(fa)(fa)神像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)。
佛殿壁畫
最(zui)為(wei)精彩的(de)(de)(de)是南壁(bi)東(dong)(dong)、西(xi)段(duan)壁(bi)畫。東(dong)(dong)段(duan)壁(bi)畫的(de)(de)(de)最(zui)上(shang)方(fang)為(wei)釋迦牟尼像(xiang);中心(xin)繪(hui)宗喀巴(ba)弟子(zi)3人;東(dong)(dong)側繪(hui)觀(guan)(guan)音法像(xiang);西(xi)側繪(hui)仁(ren)嘎欽布、白髻長髯,手持人骨(gu)法號;最(zui)下方(fang)為(wei)5尊并(bing)列的(de)(de)(de)護法金剛像(xiang)。西(xi)段(duan)壁(bi)畫的(de)(de)(de)最(zui)上(shang)方(fang)繪(hui)綠度母;下方(fang)繪(hui)吉祥天女護法神;西(xi)端(duan)繪(hui)圣(sheng)山(shan)岡仁(ren)波(bo)且;東(dong)(dong)端(duan)繪(hui)騎虎(hu)、騎象和一頭戴人骨(gu)骷(ku)髏冠、坐(zuo)壓在披(pi)發(fa)裸(luo)體人之上(shang)的(de)(de)(de)3尊護法神像(xiang);其中心(xin)為(wei)觀(guan)(guan)音法像(xiang),四周以雪山(shan)、云彩裝飾。
外環廊壁畫
是帕巴寺(si)壁(bi)(bi)(bi)畫(hua)最為(wei)(wei)精美的(de)部分(fen)。南(nan)壁(bi)(bi)(bi):上方門楣(mei)處(chu)繪(hui)(hui)釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)(jia)牟(mou)像(xiang)(xiang),左(zuo)右(you)繪(hui)(hui)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)度母、護(hu)法(fa)(fa)神像(xiang)(xiang);西(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)段(duan)(duan)(duan)為(wei)(wei)西(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)方廣目天(tian)(tian)(tian)王(手(shou)(shou)托塔)與(yu)東(dong)方持(chi)國天(tian)(tian)(tian)王(手(shou)(shou)執(zhi)琵琶),兩天(tian)(tian)(tian)王之(zhi)間繪(hui)(hui)制壇城(cheng)(曼荼羅(luo)),中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)央(yang)為(wei)(wei)無量光佛,西(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)側(ce)(ce)為(wei)(wei)化佛小像(xiang)(xiang);東(dong)段(duan)(duan)(duan)繪(hui)(hui)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)南(nan)方增長天(tian)(tian)(tian)王與(yu)北(bei)(bei)(bei)方多聞天(tian)(tian)(tian)王、吉(ji)(ji)祥(xiang)天(tian)(tian)(tian)女(nv)像(xiang)(xiang)。西(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)壁(bi)(bi)(bi):從南(nan)至北(bei)(bei)(bei)繪(hui)(hui)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)護(hu)法(fa)(fa)神、十六羅(luo)漢、歷代(dai)高(gao)僧(seng)在德(de)等。北(bei)(bei)(bei)壁(bi)(bi)(bi):從西(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)至東(dong)繪(hui)(hui)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)(jia)牟(mou)尼、班(ban)丹(dan)拉(la)(la)(la)姆、米(mi)拉(la)(la)(la)日巴、噶瑪法(fa)(fa)王、德(de)敦(dun)嘎旺多杰、哈蒙居馬(ma)、仁尊次(ci)旺羅(luo)布(bu)、切(qie)洛桑扎、蓮(lian)花生及(ji)其佛母康錯益西(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)措(cuo)杰、拉(la)(la)(la)堅門德(de)那哇、墀松(song)德(de)贊、藥(yao)師佛及(ji)其弟子、喜金剛、觀音(yin)、強巴佛、白傘蓋、多吉(ji)(ji)申巴、恰那多杰、綠(lv)度母、宗喀(ka)巴師徒三人,拉(la)(la)(la)羅(luo)哇、吉(ji)(ji)尊強準等肖像(xiang)(xiang)。東(dong)壁(bi)(bi)(bi):北(bei)(bei)(bei)壁(bi)(bi)(bi)畫(hua)早、晚(wan)期區別顯著(zhu)(zhu)。南(nan)段(duan)(duan)(duan)下(xia)層(ceng)壁(bi)(bi)(bi)畫(hua)在技(ji)法(fa)(fa)上運(yun)筆細膩(ni),線條流暢,施(shi)色(se)(se)(se)淺淡,色(se)(se)(se)調偏灰,以(yi)不帶膠質(zhi)(zhi)的(de)礦物(wu)質(zhi)(zhi)顏料著(zhu)(zhu)色(se)(se)(se),具有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)早期壁(bi)(bi)(bi)畫(hua)的(de)特征(zheng)。菩(pu)薩(sa)(sa)像(xiang)(xiang),手(shou)(shou)持(chi)凈瓶(ping),上體赤裸,其旁側(ce)(ce)為(wei)(wei)菩(pu)提(ti)樹(shu),赤足站(zhan)立于蓮(lian)座(zuo)之(zhi)上;法(fa)(fa)師像(xiang)(xiang),頭(tou)(tou)(tou)戴淺褐色(se)(se)(se)尖帽,內著(zhu)(zhu)右(you)衽(ren)僧(seng)衣,身(shen)披袈裟,右(you)手(shou)(shou)作說法(fa)(fa)印(yin),左(zuo)手(shou)(shou)執(zhi)凈瓶(ping)平置于腿部,結(jie)跏趺坐于蓮(lian)臺(tai)上;墀松(song)德(de)贊像(xiang)(xiang),頭(tou)(tou)(tou)戴寶(bao)冠,手(shou)(shou)執(zhi)輪寶(bao),端坐于蓮(lian)臺(tai)之(zhi)上,下(xia)為(wei)(wei)祥(xiang)云環繞,其左(zuo)下(xia)方還繪(hui)(hui)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)一(yi)頭(tou)(tou)(tou)戴高(gao)冠的(de)菩(pu)薩(sa)(sa)頭(tou)(tou)(tou)像(xiang)(xiang),手(shou)(shou)執(zhi)法(fa)(fa)螺。南(nan)段(duan)(duan)(duan)上層(ceng)壁(bi)(bi)(bi)畫(hua)年代(dai)晚(wan)于下(xia)層(ceng),但題材十分(fen)豐富,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)(jia)牟(mou)尼傳記(ji)、松(song)贊干布(bu)時代(dai)的(de)宮廷生活、削發(fa)剃剃度等不同的(de)場(chang)面(mian)。《宮廷生活圖(tu)》,反(fan)映的(de)是松(song)贊干布(bu)時代(dai)大臣甲(jia)射的(de)宮廷生活情景。畫(hua)面(mian)以(yi)樓閣(ge)為(wei)(wei)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)心(xin),第(di)一(yi)至三層(ceng)為(wei)(wei)甲(jia)射端坐于法(fa)(fa)臺(tai),手(shou)(shou)執(zhi)法(fa)(fa)輪,其兩端分(fen)立侍(shi)女(nv):第(di)四(si)層(ceng)為(wei)(wei)7名(ming)宮廷侍(shi)從居于室內,均頭(tou)(tou)(tou)纏頭(tou)(tou)(tou)巾,身(shen)著(zhu)(zhu)圓(yuan)領衣,談(tan)笑娛樂;第(di)五層(ceng)為(wei)(wei)宮中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)馬(ma)廄(jiu),繪(hui)(hui)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)良驥(ji)數匹和飼養人;第(di)六層(ceng)為(wei)(wei)騎馬(ma)出行圖(tu)和宮中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)宴(yan)飲場(chang)面(mian)。《削發(fa)剃度圖(tu)》,畫(hua)面(mian)正上方繪(hui)(hui)一(yi)座(zuo)覆缽式(shi)塔(俗稱“喇嘛塔”),四(si)周環繞云朵(duo)、樹(shu)叢;其下(xia)方繪(hui)(hui)制3人:從左(zuo)至右(you)一(yi)人頭(tou)(tou)(tou)纏頭(tou)(tou)(tou)巾,正在燒水;一(yi)人身(shen)穿紫紅色(se)(se)(se)右(you)衽(ren)長袍,右(you)手(shou)(shou)執(zhi)剪,左(zuo)手(shou)(shou)抓住發(fa)辮,正在剃發(fa);一(yi)人身(shen)著(zhu)(zhu)通肩袈裟正在主持(chi)剃度儀式(shi)。《釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)(jia)涅盤圖(tu)》,正中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)繪(hui)(hui)制釋(shi)(shi)迦(jia)(jia)牟(mou)側(ce)(ce)臥,右(you)側(ce)(ce)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)菩(pu)提(ti)樹(shu),樹(shu)下(xia)二(er)弟子悲哀垂首;上部祥(xiang)云籠罩(zhao),左(zuo)右(you)各有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)2各樂音(yin)菩(pu)薩(sa)(sa)在天(tian)(tian)(tian)迎奉。北(bei)(bei)(bei)段(duan)(duan)(duan)上層(ceng)壁(bi)(bi)(bi)畫(hua)的(de)年代(dai)最晚(wan),而且與(yu)北(bei)(bei)(bei)段(duan)(duan)(duan)下(xia)層(ceng)壁(bi)(bi)(bi)畫(hua)的(de)疊(die)壓關系十分(fen)明顯。壁(bi)(bi)(bi)畫(hua)從北(bei)(bei)(bei)端開始,繪(hui)(hui)制出布(bu)達拉(la)(la)(la)宮、甘丹(dan)地、哲(zhe)蚌寺(si)、色(se)(se)(se)拉(la)(la)(la)寺(si)、琉璃橋、八(ba)角(jiao)林三塔及(ji)藥(yao)王山等宏大建筑群,長達9米(mi),氣勢宏大。此外,還繪(hui)(hui)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)吉(ji)(ji)祥(xiang)天(tian)(tian)(tian)母像(xiang)(xiang)。
帕巴寺從建筑和壁畫來看,歷代曾進行過修葺,但其(qi)主體建筑卻依然(ran)保(bao)存了歷史舊貌,具有濃郁的南亞風格。“文革”期間寺廟(miao)被毀,現已由吉(ji)隆縣政府(fu)批(pi)準恢復。
