福州市(shi)升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)山(shan)(shan)靈巖禪寺(si)位于福州市(shi)晉(jin)安區新店鎮(zhen)赤星村(cun)境內升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)山(shan)(shan)上(shang),據《三山(shan)(shan)志》、《閩都(dou)記》等(deng)古志史(shi)的記載:“世傳越王(wang)勾踐時,此山(shan)(shan)自會(hui)稽飛來(lai)”,故名飛來(lai)峰。晉(jin)太康年間(jian),任(ren)敦在這(zhe)里修道白日(ri)羽化(hua)升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)天(tian)(tian),即“一(yi)人得(de)道,雞犬升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)天(tian)(tian)”。唐(tang)天(tian)(tian)寶六年(747年),唐(tang)玄(xuan)宗(zong)“以(yi)仙(xian)(xian)公之上(shang)升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),詔改升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)山(shan)(shan)”,御(yu)封(feng)飛來(lai)峰為升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)山(shan)(shan),現存“任(ren)公臺”、“仙(xian)(xian)升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)巖”等(deng)古跡,民間(jian)有任(ren)敦“種(zhong)杏立果”、“食(shi)枳葉染(ran)飯成(cheng)仙(xian)(xian)”的傳說。唐(tang)宋八大家(jia)之一(yi)的曾鞏《游升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)山(shan)(shan)》詩曰:“修竹(zhu)長松十里陰,任(ren)敦燒藥洞門深。獨(du)窺(kui)全(quan)版驚人語,能到清霞出世心。雞犬亦隨云外去,蓬瀛何必海(hai)中(zhong)尋(xun)。丹樓碧閣唐(tang)朝寺(si),錫(xi)吹香花滿歸林。”《三山(shan)(shan)志》載:“以(yi)其西巖石間(jian)時聞鼓磬聲,故稱靈巖”,故又名升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)山(shan)(shan)靈巖寺(si)。
升山(shan)(shan)靈(ling)巖寺(si)(si)始建于南北(bei)(bei)朝(chao)陳(chen)天嘉三年(nian)(nian)(562年(nian)(nian)),為(wei)福州(zhou)市較早的(de)(de)寺(si)(si)院(yuan)之(zhi)(zhi)一(yi)。《三山(shan)(shan)志》載:“升山(shan)(shan)有(you)(you)(you)元沙(sha)(sha)寺(si)(si)(又稱(cheng)(cheng)玄(xuan)沙(sha)(sha)寺(si)(si)),本安(an)國禪師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)塔(ta)(ta)院(yuan)也(ye)。”《閩(min)(min)都記》載:“升山(shan)(shan)靈(ling)巖寺(si)(si) 升山(shan)(shan),去郡十里(li)而遙。陳(chen)天嘉三年(nian)(nian)創寺(si)(si),舊號飛山(shan)(shan)。元沙(sha)(sha)寺(si)(si)即(ji)其址也(ye)。”唐(tang)、宋兩(liang)代極盛時有(you)(you)(you)僧(seng)尼千(qian)人,其中有(you)(you)(you)一(yi)部份(fen)還(huan)是日本、高麗(li)等國趕(gan)到(dao)“玄(xuan)沙(sha)(sha)寺(si)(si)”朝(chao)圣(sheng)的(de)(de)僧(seng)侶,出國師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)“宗(zong)一(yi)安(an)國”禪師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(即(ji)玄(xuan)沙(sha)(sha)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)備(bei)(835~908年(nian)(nian)),俗姓謝,閩(min)(min)王(wang)王(wang)審知曾(ceng)拜師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)備(bei)為(wei)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),晚(wan)年(nian)(nian)回福州(zhou),結屋在北(bei)(bei)門外玄(xuan)沙(sha)(sha)山(shan)(shan)(今福州(zhou)郊區(qu)新店鎮升山(shan)(shan)),稱(cheng)(cheng)“玄(xuan)沙(sha)(sha)寺(si)(si)”,成(cheng)為(wei)“法眼(yan)宗(zong)”的(de)(de)發源地。師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)備(bei)有(you)(you)(you)《大小語錄》傳世,閩(min)(min)王(wang)王(wang)審知為(wei)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)備(bei)逝(shi)世尤其悼惜,賜號宗(zong)一(yi)大師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),立塔(ta)(ta)紀(ji)(ji)念(nian)。后唐(tang)長興(xing)元年(nian)(nian)(930年(nian)(nian)),新閩(min)(min)王(wang)王(wang)延鈞也(ye)為(wei)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)備(bei)樹(shu)碑紀(ji)(ji)念(nian)。玄(xuan)沙(sha)(sha)從《楞嚴經》入道,識見尤屬(shu)特別,化行尤廣(guang)。繼有(you)(you)(you)羅漢桂(gui)琛(867—928),門眾推為(wei)上(shang)座(zuo),大弘玄(xuan)沙(sha)(sha)之(zhi)(zhi)教,從桂(gui)琛得法的(de)(de)有(you)(you)(you)文益(885—958),后為(wei)南唐(tang)元宗(zong)迎住(zhu)于金陵報恩(en)禪院(yuan),死(si)后謚法眼(yan),衍成(cheng)法眼(yan)宗(zong))。歷代名僧(seng)倍出,被(bei)冠以(yi)“靈(ling)巖顯圣(sheng)兮閩(min)(min)中寶(bao)剎第一(yi)”的(de)(de)尊稱(cheng)(cheng),有(you)(you)(you)“未有(you)(you)(you)涌泉,先有(you)(you)(you)靈(ling)巖”的(de)(de)說法。
唐朝周(zhou)樸,宋代(dai)(dai)曾鞏(gong)、陳襄、李(li)綱,明代(dai)(dai)陳亮(liang),清代(dai)(dai)林則(ze)徐等(deng)都游過升(sheng)山靈(ling)巖寺(si)(si)。唐周(zhou)樸有(you)《升(sheng)山》詩寫:“升(sheng)山自古道(dao)(dao)飛來,此(ci)是(shi)神(shen)功莫浪(lang)猜(cai)。氣色(se)雖然離禹穴,峰巒猶自接蓬(peng)萊。巖邊古樹泉(quan)沖落,頂上浮(fu)(fu)云照(zhao)日開。南望閩(min)城塵(chen)世界(jie),千秋(qiu)萬古卷浮(fu)(fu)埃。”現寺(si)(si)后巖壁上保(bao)留宋代(dai)(dai)張(zhang)去惑、程師孟(meng)、周(zhou)君(jun)信,元代(dai)(dai)也先(xian)不花大年(nian)和清代(dai)(dai)林則(ze)徐等(deng)名(ming)人的(de)摩崖題刻。如:“道(dao)(dao)光庚戍夏,邑人林則(ze)徐、郭柏蒼同蜀李(li)惺(xing)(xing)游升(sheng)山寺(si)(si)。”當時林則(ze)徐已66歲,在家養病期(qi)間同四川進士(shi)李(li)惺(xing)(xing)一起游升(sheng)山寺(si)(si)。“獨有(you)昔賢(xian)遺刻在,年(nian)年(nian)秋(qiu)雨長青苔”,成了一道(dao)(dao)獨特的(de)風(feng)景線,讓人懷(huai)古憑吊。
升(sheng)山(shan)靈巖寺為市、區文物保護(hu)單位,明嘉靖時曾重修過,后(hou)又(you)毀,清(qing)光(guang)緒(xu)三十(shi)三年(1907年)重建,寺內現(xian)(xian)存(cun)宋代古石槽和古僧塔垅等(deng)(deng)。現(xian)(xian)在的升(sheng)山(shan)寺有(you)天王殿(dian)、大(da)(da)雄(xiong)寶殿(dian)、大(da)(da)悲樓、西歸祠(ci)、彌陀殿(dian)、僧舍等(deng)(deng)。大(da)(da)雄(xiong)寶殿(dian)為清(qing)朝木椽結構建筑,有(you)聯曰:“圣地(di)千秋秀,佛天萬古春”、“天上樓臺山(shan)中(zhong)(zhong)寺,云中(zhong)(zhong)鐘鼓月(yue)中(zhong)(zhong)僧。”等(deng)(deng)。在大(da)(da)雄(xiong)寶殿(dian)后(hou)面的大(da)(da)悲樓,由(you)大(da)(da)護(hu)法普音居(ju)士(shi)捐資重建,大(da)(da)悲樓高聳雄(xiong)偉,氣概萬千,宛若天上瓊樓玉宇,身歷其境(jing),猶如進入仙鄉,內供千手觀音菩(pu)薩巨像,彩繪描(miao)金粉飾,高二十(shi)多米,為福州地(di)區所絕(jue)無僅有(you)。
從偏東30度遠處眺望升山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),其(qi)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)勢有(you)如一座巨大(da)的(de)彌勒佛(fo),而升山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)靈(ling)巖寺則修建在這尊彌勒佛(fo)的(de)肚臍上,這不可不謂古(gu)人建寺時選址的(de)良(liang)苦用心(xin),站(zhan)在升山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)瀏(liu)覽(lan)四周(zhou),遠處左有(you)鼓山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),右(you)有(you)旗(qi)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),前(qian)有(you)五(wu)鳳(feng)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)。近處東有(you)獅山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),西(xi)有(you)象山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),后有(you)葫(hu)蘆山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)。故有(you)“左鼓右(you)旗(qi)前(qian)五(wu)鳳(feng)”,“東獅西(xi)象后葫(hu)蘆”“飛峰(feng)毓秀也天下形(xing)勝無雙”之說,細(xi)細(xi)端(duan)祥,越發耐人尋味,實為風水寶地,與屏山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)鎮海樓(lou)南北相映。
在(zai)升山(shan)靈(ling)巖寺觀(guan)(guan)(guan)景(jing),可謂人生一大(da)享受(shou),在(zai)鼓嶺觀(guan)(guan)(guan)景(jing),因遠(yuan)而糊,升山(shan)近而清。白天(tian)可見櫛比(bi)鱗次的(de)高樓大(da)廈(sha)林立(li),晚上可瞻萬千燈(deng)光(guang)閃爍絢麗的(de)夜(ye)景(jing),尤(you)其是(shi)在(zai)雨(yu)過天(tian)晴、秋高氣爽(shuang)、風和(he)日(ri)麗之(zhi)時,其視(shi)角之(zhi)廣、視(shi)線(xian)之(zhi)遠(yuan),無處可比(bi),為天(tian)然(ran)的(de)福(fu)州(zhou)城(cheng)觀(guan)(guan)(guan)景(jing)臺,是(shi)福(fu)州(zhou)罕有的(de)寶地(di)。身處寧(ning)靜,眼觀(guan)(guan)(guan)喧囂,在(zai)佛、道之(zhi)境,看塵世之(zhi)煩亂,自感超脫,強烈的(de)對比(bi),使人心境無比(bi)輕松,流(liu)連忘返(fan)。
升山靈巖寺福(fu)州(zhou)北郊的這一文(wen)化(hua)瑰寶,有(you)悠久的文(wen)明,厚(hou)重的文(wen)化(hua)沉積,多(duo)彩的神(shen)話傳(chuan)說,豐富的文(wen)物瑰寶,更有(you)不可(ke)(ke)多(duo)得的地理條件(jian),是社會(hui)不可(ke)(ke)多(duo)得的財富,社會(hui)有(you)責(ze)任組織力(li)量來保(bao)護這一見證福(fu)州(zhou)古代發展史的難得實(shi)物,有(you)責(ze)任研究、開發這一獨特(te)的歷史、文(wen)化(hua)、旅游、觀光資(zi)源,以提(ti)升福(fu)州(zhou)城悠久的人(ren)文(wen)品位,使(shi)之更好地造福(fu)于(yu)社會(hui)。
